After 2 flights to get to Namibia from the UK Galton House was an oasis of peace and calm. The staff couldn't do enough to help, advising us on where to eat, as we wanted to go out rather than eat there (the menu did look very good though) and ordering a taxi for our return trip. Our room, facing...

This hotel is conveniently located and offers clean, quiet and secure lodgings. The rooms are all appointed with ample lighting, storage, linens and clean, comfortable beds with fresh sheets. The shower was powerful with ample hot water. There is a small desk with appliances for tea and coffee. The room is also equipped with a small safety box. The property...

We had a lovely stay at Galton House. Rooms were clean and the aircon was a treat. Just wish I could have switched the glowing green light off of it. The bed was typical Namibian and very firm. The coffee was great.

Compared to the Wilderness Safari Camps we stayed in during most of our 3 week vacation, this place was severely lacking! The room was of average size but, the bed was rock hard and most uncomfortable. The only redeeming features of this place was a decent breakfast with eggs made to order and the fact that the manager was quite...

Thank you very much for your feedback, it truly is valued. I am afraid that comparing our establishment to a Wilderness Safari camp may be a little unfair, especially considering that our establishment charges one tenth of what the cheapest Wilderness Safaris camp charges. I am delighted you enjoyed our breakfast and that our staff was helpful, as that is...

We stayed at Galton House's only one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. Rooms were large and spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was very functionnal and nicely designed. A special mention for their great breakfast.

This was our first stop (and final stop) on a family tour. Rooms are spacious and located around a central court. Main staff is friendly and helpful although room staff is essentially non-English speaking. Excellent breakfast consisting of a buffet with cooked options. Location is a bit of a walk from center city and not convenient for walking after hours...

I stayed here twice--once at the start of my two week visit to Namibia and then again before I left the country. I simply loved this place and wish I could duplicate its ambience and service in other cities. It has a modern vibe with its furnishings and colors--with fabulous oversized photos on the walls of area wildlife. The bedrooms...

The guest house has a variety of rooms some better than others. Near the road not so good near the pool far better. Nice pool but loungers could be improved.Staff willing and friendly. Breakfast unexciting cold fare. Dinner - all I can say is that on the second visit we made sure that we eat elsewhere: first time round chef...

We spent one night at Galton House at each end of our Namibian driving tour. The staff were friendly & helpful, the room was simple but had everything we needed including quality toiletries, drinking water & tea & coffee making facilities. We decided to have dinner at Galton House as the evening menu on reception desk sounded quite appetising. The...
