We stayed at this hotel both before we set off and when we returned from our tour of Namibia and on both occasions it was so nice to stay at a really comfortable 1st class hotel. The staff were excellent and more than happy to help with any problems or queries. The food and the restaurant were exemplary and I...

Hotel, golf course and casino run by the government. Breakfast was good, the room was generous and the bed was comfortable. However, the free wi-fi only worked in the lobby. The place felt like a hotel in Vegas, but without the nightlife. It was a one night stopover for our continuing journey to the Namib desert.

I spent 2 nights at the Windhoek country club for business. All in all it's an average hotel for the price. The big thing for me were: - The sheets on the bed were so hard that they could stand on there own. - The dreaded bath shower, at least there wasn't a curtain. - The rooms weren't insulated so...

I have stayed at the Windhoek Country Club twice now on overnight stays during business trips. Both times, I was pleased with the service and the room. On arrival I was greeted with fresh orange juice and a cool towel during check-in. The rooms are a nice size with a comfortable bed and good TV selection. I would recommend staying...

Very pleasant hotel for business visit. Good food and friendly service. I appreciate free wi-fi which worked very well. Good to get out of the city after busy days and relax. Pool wasn't really for swimming, just to cool down. Plenty of places to meet up with business associates.

Great location, fantastic hotel but staff training somewhat lacking. The reputation of The Legacy Group seriously dented for me on my visit. We arrived to a rather grumpy receptionist who was far from helpful. The hotel refused to accept delivery of an expensive headphone set despite us phoning them several days before. The Lodge where we left the headsets had...

We just had one night here before catching a flight. We had confirmed interlocking rooms that were anything but--a bit of a problem when you travel with young kids. Ordering food at the restaurant was viewed as a bit of an imposition, and out of three orders, none came as ordered. Pool towers required a search mission. However, when I...

We arrived at the hotel on the 30th of December and had to offload our own luggage, the door man eventually caught up with us as we were done checking in. We were given a much needed refreshing welcome drink. (Thumbs up for that). And there ends the good part of our stay. The rooms were clean... but check out...

The ROOM SERVICE and restaurant were the WORST! Their room service staff had attitude and were very moody. It is not the guests fault that they had to work over the holidays but they definitely took it out on us. All orders took an hour to be delivered and then would arrive incorrectly then it would take another half hour...

My youngest son had his wedding at Windhoek Country Lodge on 4 April 2015, which was a lovely evening and the venue quite acceptable. Everything was fine until we went to bed late that evening, just to find out that our key was not working anymore. Upon request at the reception, we found out that several keys were handed out...
