Most of the people stay here at the beginning and/or end of a tour. This hotel is excellent if one is travelling in or out of Windhoek as it is very near the domestic airport. The rooms are simple but ok. The pool area is really the nicest part of the hotel. The food is really ok, mostly they serve...

Perfect hotel to relax in after an overnight flight from Europe. Our room was ready on arrival in the morning. It was a rather dark room but it was quiet and the bed was very comfortable,. We used the hotel shuttle to the shopping mall - nice not to have to drive when tired from the flight. The pool and...

Décor is outdated but rooms are comfortable and regularly cleaned. Water was only given once in the rooms and that was on the day of arrival, don't know if that is the hotel policy so be prepared to buy additional water. Service however in the reception and breakfast room was just not there so be prepared for that. During peak...

Dear Sandra D We are glad to hear that you had an enjoyable stay at our Hotel. Our Hotel policy is that each guest receives a complimentary bottle of water in the room on the day of arrival. Afterwards, you are more than welcome to buy bottled water, as we have in stock at the bars and restaurants. I can...

I stayed a night at Safari Court last week. The room albeit spotlessly clean felt like it was in a bit of a time warp. There were 2 single beds, each a different height. The bathrooms are 1980s style and the room keys are those huge plastic contraptions with an actual key attached. Despite this the stay was fine and...

The hotel is to old,the employees and mangers on duty is so rude. No communication with other employees. The restaurant is strange. The Bar is a misery. I describe that the food for rooms services come from other building by walking and have to stay in reception for take the invoice for the guest room. The room is big but...

I attended the annual NAPHA conference (24/11 - 25/11) at the venue. For a 4 star hotel I expected much more especially if you look at their rates. They advertise free wifi but you get a small voucher with a 100MB allowance per day. This is totally insufficient if you visit the hotel on business. Rooms are very old and...

We stayed for 3 nights at the Safari Court Hotel. To say it is disappointing and a complete rip off is an understatement. The Hotel is living in the 80s, despite numerous responses from the hotel on Tripadvisor that new rooms have been designed and awaiting management approval - is fine, but its 20 years overdue! How did this even...

I lived and worked in Windhoek for 3 years in the 1990s. Coming back 20 years later it is shocking to see how little has changed. The same shops (‘Bushman Art’, ‘Wecke & Voigts’) and restaurants (‘Gathemann’s’, ‘Kaiserkrone’) line Independence Avenue, and the Christus Kirche still overlooks the city from up behind Zoo Park. There are some monolithic new buildings,...

Stayed in the Hotel Safari (the 3* they also own situated right next to the Safari Court). Rooms were a little dated but were large and cool! The large pool was good as was the breakfast! Slightly out of the city centre but taxis are cheap enough.
