We spent the last night after an amazing trip around Namibia at the Olive Grove and wished that we could have stayed longer! The décor in the rooms was very original, the bed was very comfortable and it was very clean. The main house had a warm and cosy feel. It was lovely to sit on the terrace and have...

We stayed at the olive grove for two nights. This is a great place near the city centre, the rooms are very nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and helped with booking tables at restaurants and arranging taxis. The food within the olive grove was also very nice.

We only stayed at this place for one night on our way through Windhoek down south. It seemed that lots of people use it as a stopover, which is almost a shame as the place is so lovely and the staff so friendly and helpful. It is well located to either walk or drive into the city centre. Our room...

Olive Grove was our layover accommodations for the first night and last night in Namibia for a 2 week adventure. The rooms are unique, well decorated, very well maintained. Note that some rooms have slightly weird layouts for their showers/bathing facilities. The internet worked incredibly well. The food was spectacular.

This place was great. We arrived late and the staff had kept the kitchen open for us in case we were hungry (we were). We are also tough people to feed, with various dietary restrictions, all of which were handled without issue. In fact, they even had non-dairy milk on hand. Food was better than expected, although to be fair...

Our room was nice. Wifi worked well. It was a short drive to the city centrer and restaurants. We were only here for one night before our flight home. They had a restaurant on premesis but we felt like going out.

I stayed at the Olive Grove for 3 days while conducting training in Windhoek. I had a fabulous time! The room was massive ( one of the upstairs double rooms) and beautifully decorated with a well stocked fridge that included very good wine and chocolates. The food was world class. Namibia is known for the quality of their meat and...

This is an upmarket guesthouse close to the city centre. ( approx. 30 mins walk to the city) It takes about 40 mins by car to the guesthouse from the Hosea Kutako International airport . There is a secure car park facility at the guesthouse if you have a car. We stayed here for 2 nights & breakfast was included...

The room was a decent size. There was a fridge with fully stocked mini-bar (and the red wine was at room temperature rather than in the fridge!). Tea and coffee making facilities with proper milk (rather than powdered whitener/creamer). There is a large safe in the room, sizable enough to hold laptop or camera equipment. The locale feels safe and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Olive Grove is a small upmarket accommodation establishment situated close to the city center in a quiet, peaceful area. The guesthouse takes homely atmosphere to a different level. Recently completely refurbished, each room has been decorated and painted with new colour schemes allowing a different feel, but with the same elegant and simplistic emphasis on decor. The open-plan kitchen allows guests to see how meals are prepared, while they enjoy a drink in the lounge. The menu was also reinvented and is now fully a la carte, quite unique for a guesthouse. Home-style food is rounded off with great presentation, pushing up the level of the guesthouse dining experience. Whilst each of the eleven rooms and one suite cater for every need of the most discerning traveller, the emphasis remains one of simplicity and elegance. ... more   less
