ONLY CONSIDER IF PREPARED TO SLUM IT!!! Checkin: took over 15 min and assistance from 4 people. Room: A "family suite" is recommended only for two bachelors sharing. Too small for more than two sharing. Bathroom: Not clean at all... faucet could not be set to shower then bath without a pair of pliers.

Arrived at the place around 10pm. Sent to car park at back of hotel. Gates opened but driveway too steep so the sills of the car got damaged (Scratched/dented) peugeot 207cc. We'll deal with it tomorrow they said. Go and park over the road from the front door.. Go to the room no bedside lights working - one didn't have... More

Great place to stay if you are on a budget and want more privacy than a hostel. The hotel is quite old, I think the elevator speaks for itself, but the staff have been quite pleasant. Check in was hassle free, wifi wasn't bad if only one person was using it. The moment my boyfriend connected it began to move... More

Hard to say anything good. This is not the Protea hotel you're used to. The local business we were visiting suggested alternative hotels as soon as they heard where we were staying. Internet is flaky, service at meals was patchy and rooms are pretty basic. The hotel is noisy, particularly if you have a street facing room. The rooms were... More

The check-in was really nice and friendly which was very encouraging, but from there on it all went downhill. The Room was ok but the bathroom (Shower only )was so small you could easily touch all 4 wall with arms extended. TV had only 9 channels which is a very limited bouquet. I asked for a wake up call as... More

It has been about a year since I last visited this establishment. Check in was quick and efficient and bags taken to room. Breakfast still fresh and waitrons attentive to residents but choice has reduced since last year. Also dined here one night and must say that the menu offering was not bad; we chose fish and chicken dishes. The... More

Small hotel, very old and poorly maintained. We were in a family room. Rooms were good size, beds were comfortable. Room furniture was old and mostly broken. Night table built into the wall was falling off. Bed lamps were broken. TV worked but the hotel did not pay it's cable bill, so there were no channels. Carpets very dirty throughout... More

This was not very centrally located especially on a sleepy Sunday and the staff bit sleepy too.... Booked my bond for example and took some hassling to recover. Rooms are basic... bathroom tiny and toilet requires jumping onto. Needs to a spruce up. Room service ok. I am not sure why my tour group booked us in here opposed to... More
