Before I start, my 3 stars rating is just because I got something different from the description and pictures. Place is very quiet and peaceful. Staff is super friendly. We're a big group and we had 2 houses. As per lodge description, we're supposed to get a house with 3-4 rooms and 3-4 bathroom. We got a house with 5...

The rooms were ok but they were a bit far from the conference center, there is no internet or tv in the rooms. The breakfast was really good but the lunch and supper were average at best. Overall the environment was nice but lacked some creature comforts.

We briefly visited Bulembu a few years ago, and I immediately fell in love with the colourful, misty, special place. When I urgently needed a break earlier this year, my soul craved to be in Bulembu. We had five days of peace and quiet, while still being amongst very friendly people, giving us excellent service. There were more than enough...

I thought this place was absolutely wonderful. A huge 5 bedroom house for the two of us, could easily accommodate a family or group of friends of 12 or more. The view was amazing from the house and the food was good too. R140.00 for a chicken, chip and salad dish plus desert is not a bad deal. Side note:...

We stayed at Bulembu Country Lodge on our way out of Swaziland. The room was fantastic and the area sublime. The restaurant, however, was the reason for missing out on the 5 stars. The staff were, without exception, very friendly, but the waitress serving dinner had a bit of a communication barrier resulting in one or two misunderstandings. Future travellers...

Friendly and helpful staff. Breathe in the clean fresh air. A stone-throw away from the mountains surrounding the area. Peaceful area. United, God-loving community. Great retreat. No TV in the rooms and SA network not that great, which is great because you get to communicate without any distraction.

The village was pretty but very dull. The information provided at the booking site wasn't sufficiently clear about the way Bulembu is run, including the strict no-alcohol policy in the whole village. The staff was very easily overwhelmed by even simple requests such as drinks orders and assistance with luggage. The lodge had failed to make sure it had enough...

A nice quaint privately owned town that serves well for individuals seeking some silence and solitude. Birds chirping away, bees humming by the Jacaranda trees. It is truly a quiet and magnificent placed nestled in the mountains. The people are friendly, the rooms were neat and clean. The downsize was that there was an electricity outage on the one night...

My family of six stayed at the Bulembu Lodge for eight nights this past summer (2016). I can hardly wait to return this next year. The accommodations FAR exceeded any of my hopes or expectations. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The meals at the lodge were delicious, too! Even my young kids loved the food and still talk...
