The Murchison Falls 3 day trip is a great experience for anyone on a budget or short on travel time. We had a great driver, Juma, who kept us safe and sighted the lions on our safari through the national park. The safari tents at the Murchison site are rustic but comfortable - make sure to bring a flashlight! Food...

Dear aconn4 So glad to hear you enjoyed your Murchison safari! Unfortunately Kampala throughout has been suffering big problems with Wifi recently but I hope it didn't detract from your stay too much! Best regards Debbie

Working all over Uganda for some time, Red Chill was my home base whenever I was in Kampala. Red Chilli is a wonderful place to meet all sorts of new people while staying in a comfortable place with good food, hot showers (mostly), a pool and a comfortable bed, whether you're staying in a dorm or a private room. It's...

Great place to chill out to recharge your travel batteries before returning to UK. Were were a party of 8 arriving later than expected after the kitchen had closed! Still we were able to order ahead Pizzas from the pool wood fired ovens and meals from the kitchen were kept hot . What lovely service. A great place to freshen...

After our dismal experience at the Red Chilli Camp in Murchison Falls, I was not thrilled to find that we would spend two more nights at another Red Chilli facility. I must say, this hotel was much nicer than the camp. The helpful, friendly staff checked us all in quickly and efficiently. Our group had one bunkroom, one triple, and...

Red Chilli's was such a great place to stay with comfy beds, hot water and good food (especially pizza!). We stayed here 3 times over the course of our trip in Uganda and had a wonderful stay each time. Thank you especially to Katie and Anton (the managers), they were just awesome!! They truly made our stay! We will most...

This hostel was above my expectations, it was well worth the money! This is the place to stay if you're on a budget and don't want to be too close the the craziness of Kampala city centre. For me personally it was too far away as you couldn't move about by yourself and see the city, as there was nothing...

Dear Straahl Honoured to hear that we were the cleanest place you visited in Uganda! Our girls do work really hard! We love our location a little away from crazy hectic Kampala and all it's traffic, but Red Chilli is probably not the best choice for those wishing to stay in the heart of the action, rather than take our...

My group of 3 came to spend the night here before we headed out for the 3 day safari at Murchison Falls (through Red Chilli). They gave us a free night here the night before, and it was great! The pizzas available at dinner satisfied our cravings for some not local food, and the drinks were reasonably priced. The staff...

Dear Nandini S So glad to hear you could take advantage of the free night before your safari with us and that you enjoyed our facilities. Sorry it was so hot in the dorm though - I wonder if this was even with the ceiling fan on? Generally at our place in Kampala it is quite cool at night but...
