I've stayed here twice on business trips and haven't been disappointed. Most rooms overlook a small pool in the courtyard. Too small for a decent swim, it nevertheless makes a nice place to sit beside when eating in the open sided restaurant. Service is attentive. If you get tired of the menu there's another hotel with an Indian menu just...

The hotel building and grounds lack any real character. The pool area is small and looked on directly by the whole hotel and restaurant. Which means the pool area is not the kind of place where you can relax in a bikini. The food was fine but all European/western, which was disappointing as we were hoping to have a taste...

I stayed for two times two nights (with a week in between). Staff very helpful. They even arranged a boda-boda at 6 o'clock in the morning (to bring me to my transport for my day-trip to Jinja). I could also leave part of my luggage there in between my two stays without any additional charges. As other reviewers have stated...

I stayed at Urban by CityBlue for three nights. The location is good. Walking distance to Owina market and Makerere University. My room was spacious. Could have slept a family of four. There was a king-size bed and what looked to be a fold-out sofa. The bathroom was the size of many hotel rooms in the US--it had both a...

I stayed in City Blue for almost two weeks and was very satisfied. Rooms are good as is the bath room, they are clean, breakfast is good (although after two weeks you would wish for abit more variety), internet works very well, staff are almost all very friendly and the hotel is well located within walking distance to a few...

We recently stayed here for 10 nights, so were able to get a good feel for the place and how it operates. The hotel is well located in up-market, but easily accessible, Nakasero and is almost opposite the Emin Pasha, another well regarded hotel. There is a new wing being built next door but we didn't really notice any problems...

This Africa-born brand, CityBlue has a feeling of coming home to a family whichever property you stay in. There are lots of surprises that I didn't expect for the price point - a really fantastic restaurant, warm staff, spacious room, rain shower, pool, free breakfast. I was delighted with my discovery!

With my last visit, the place was Mambapoint but this time a different name. Generally, all was well, just an opinion, the pool area is so beautiful but gym may do with a little upgrade. Definitely a good chef will elevate the guest experience and a little speed on service. Wifi was slow but worked well for me.

A client of ours placed us in this hotel for a week. I was pleasantly surprised. While the hotel is small (about 20 rooms) - with another 20 currently being built, it has a relaxed atmosphere. There are no views of kampala to speak of, as the rooms generally overlook the courtyard / pool area. Rooms are comfortable and functional,...

I stayed for 5 nights and I really enjoyed the hotel. The restaurant is nice, and staff is friendly. Wifi in the rooms or restaurant is too slow, but at the reception it is working well. So maybe invest in a couple of repeaters....The only thing I really missed in a nice hotel like this, is a good cup of...
