Pro's: - Comfortable rooms with good views and natural sunlight - Pool is actually quite deep and cleaned daily - Lunch/Dinner was good and staff were pleasant to deal with. - Generally laid back vibe - good for de-stressing - Security is better than equivalent hotels - Quiet Con's: - Backup electricity + internet was inconsistent - Hot water was...

We arrived from the USA after midnight. I thought I must have read the wrong reviews from trip advisor when I arrived! It is a very moderately decorated hotel. You may as well lay on the tile floor as sleep in the bed, it is so hard. The mosquito nets are almost useless as there is a big gap between...

We take every review of Cassia Lodge very seriously. Therefore we spoke to three guests who spent that same night at Cassia. No one has heard the dogs that you managed to count in the middle of the night. Honestly, its the first time since we opened Cassia -6 years ago- that we are confronted with such a complaint. And...

They have the best view over Kampala... it's Belgium owned and I am Belgian myself... we are know for our good cuisine, hospitality and friendliness... This hotel gives you way better value for your money then the Sheraton or the Serena in Kampala centre... The rooms are up to Western Standards with an African touch... Staff is helpful... The pool...

You'll pay a higher price for the amazing view from the hotel pool and hotel restaurant (and your room if you have one on the upper deck), but it's worth it for a night or two. Here a mix of locals on a getaway and expats on vacation or visit mix. This is a get away... not a convenient base...

We had a great time in Cassia Lodge - Kampala! Our travel across Oeganda, started & ended at this place, a beautiful place with a fantastisch view over the city of Kampala & Lake Elisabeth. The service was TOP (people were so kind). Nice food, great diner in the evening too! If we go back to Oeganda, we go back...

We were warmly greeted with tasty passion fruit drinks and the check-in process was straightforward. We loved the mosquito net contraption in our room. Our fridge was turned off when we arrived and there weren't enough sockets next to the tv to choose all of tv, digital channels and fridge! Tv digital channels had poor signal. Shower did flood a...

After a marathon flight from Los Angeles to Uganda, the Cassia Lodge was a welcomed rest and beautiful place to land! The views were spectacular, the food was surprisingly good. Unfortunately, we only booked one night here: two would have magnificent, and a wonderful place to unwind from a flight and prepare for a safari (we used Great Lakes Safaris...

Stayed at this hotel for two nights after arriving in Uganda prior to joining a safari. It is a small hotel situated in a quiet reasonably nice area of the city. All the rooms have great views over the city and the lake beyond. It has a nice small garden together with a pool which we didn't get to try...

This place has the most amazing views over lake victoria, we were only there 2 nights, evening meal was amazing, but sadly the breakfast was not as good, we were later down for breakfast and a lot of the heated food had dried out, so would recommend you go early to get it fresh. Swimming pool is in an excellant...

Not that we saw a lot of it , only arriving at 1.15am and leaving at 7am, but what we did see was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the views fabulous. Breakfast choice was excellent and service efficient.
