This is a great hotel in Kathmandu, the milk tea and milk coffee service on the roof terrace is great morning or evening. Rooms are nice and big enough for 6foot 2inch travelers. Bathrooms are good and the water is always hot.

Despite being in Thamel, which makes it idea for tourist',. It is very quite. The view from the rood is excellent. The free WIFI is a bonous, even if it is a bit slow ( Speedtest.net show 50kb up/down.)On the down side the sheets felt damp as well as the towels. In fact I went out and bought my own...

I have stayed many times at the Hotel Magnificent View. Its location is good: in Thamel but in a quiet area. The staff is friendly and helpful, the price reasonable. The bathrooms are good. However as frequent visitors to Kathmandu know: traffic and air pollution are terrible. Hours of no electricity can be 16 or more during the winter, the...

We have stayed at this hotel three times over the past year. The rooms are quite good, although they have seen better days. Standard double rooms are around $20 and the large deluxe rooms about $25 - which may be a tad overpriced, although good rooms with attached bathroom and hot water in Kathmandu can be hard to find any...

I was disappointed to have to stay at this hotel again. The staff are very sweet, but the beds are hard, sheets grey not white and the towels smelly and appear unclean. View from roof very good. Great spot for a pre dinner drink!

I just got back from staying here for a total of three nights, on two seperate occassions and my rooms were always clean and comfortable, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The view from the rooftop was very nice, allowing you views of the entire Kathmandu Valley. It sits near the end of an alleyway in Thamel, which...

This hotel was totally dirty. We booked a triple room and it turned out that the third bed was a mattress on the floor. Sheets were stained and the walls in the room were splattered with blood and dirt. Towels in the bathroom were thin and dirty. The people staying in the next room had left a bag at the...
