I stayed at Ti-Se for a month in 2011 (review will only let me select last from last 12 months) and was comfortable, well-fed (all vegetarian kitchen!), and welcomed warmly. To this day, I remain in contact with the folks I met there.

What a pleasant come-back after some years! The family owned guesthouse - with Nima as a great host - is close to the Stupa on a small side road - right at the back entrance of the beautiful Hyatt garden. The people (mostly family members) are very helpful and caring - transport is available. Very reasonable place.

I stayed here 5 nights with my family. We booked the Suite room, but it only had a twin bed so we had to put a mattress on the floor for my son. We paid $55 a night, including breakfast. The suite has two rooms. The sitting room has two chairs and a couch. They are all kind of worn...

I stayed at the Ti-se recently for about 2 1/2 weeks, and had a terrific experience. The staff - from the owners right on down to the kitchen staff and night watchman - are all very welcoming, professional, and friendly. As some other reviewers have noted, there is some street noise, but this is Kathmandu, and relative to most other...

I had high expectations of this place based on TripAdvisor reviews. I discovered at check in time (1:45) that a neighboring workshop that crafted metal pieces was right below my 3rd floor room. When I asked the front desk about this ongoing hammering, I was told it would stop at 5 p.m. I didn't, and went on till 6:45--but by...

Ti-se is lovely, and about twice the price as some other options out there near the stupa. I stayed at, or visited friends at other spots, that seem as good as this for between $10 and $12 per day. Ti-se was recommended to me by an American ex-pat so that's how I learned about it. I do think this part...

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in October 2013. Good location - only 3 minutes walk from BoudhaNath Stupa with many dining options around. BUT: there's a school just behind the hotel, so in the morning you gonna be awaken by energetic songs of students running in the backyard. Clean rooms, good value for money. A bit slow internet...

I stayed at Ti-Se for a week in March, 2013. The room was clean and comfortable, with a view of the stupa from my window. The breakfast was good, and the staff friendly and helpful. It is a short walk to the stupa, with lots of interesting sights in between. A good value. I would definitely go back.
