8 years ago when we were last in Kathmandu we had promised that next time we would treat ourselves to a stay at Dwarika's. This time we did just that and it did not disappoint! Architecturally unique, close to the airport, Dwarika's is a beautiful hotel in every way. It manages to be sophisticated, welcoming and still pay homage to...

I travel over 100,000 international miles a year, and I stay at the best hotels I can whenever I can, usually Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Relais & Chateaux. Having said that, in my opinion, when you add up all the components that make a great hotel, Dwarika's is one of the finest hotels in the world. Rooms: Stunning, huge...

Dwarikas Hotel is truly and delight to the senses in every way. It is an oasis in the middle of Kathmandu. The hotel is large with beautiful grounds. Reclaimed wood from old Nepali buildings were rescued by the Dwarikas and put to use in building this magnificent hotel. Service is excellent. Mrs. Dwarika makes sure everything is perfect! Rooms are...

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Dwarika's but I wasn't blown away. Everything I had read had probably meant that I had built up unrealistic expectations but I didn't think it quite matched up to many of the other similar hotels we have stayed at. Rooms are huge and are beautifully furnished. The wifi is excellent and there is...

We loved this. Booked directly with the hotel. Birthday treat and the hotel pulled out all the stops with a birthday cake and an upgrade. Staff were all lovely and restaurant choice great. Location is good for the airport and a taxi to town isnt that expensive. Really lovely and highly recommend.

We had three nights here and absolutely loved it. The place is so beautiful and atmospheric, with its gorgeous art, architectural fixtures and lovely gardens. The room was huge and very comfortable, again with lots of great architectural and decorative touches. The food at Dwarika's is also outstanding, especially the incredible six-course Nepalese meal at its speciality restaurant - an...

Recently I stayed at the Dwarika's Hotel and though my stay was brief it was memorable. The hotel is located very close to the Airport and its every little corner is tastefully decorated in the beautiful Newari style. The rooms are large and very comfortable and the garden a joy to behold. The staff was extremely helpful and very kindly...

The best decision ever made to stay in this hotel. Beautiful surroundings, away from hustle bustle. The rooms were nice and well decorated. Staff is really very helpful and ready to help. Wi-Fi is also having a good range.

Dwarika's Hotel is a unique place, a real gem inside the busy-noisy-dusty Kathmandu. Step within its walls, and suddenly it becomes quiet - just to let your focus shift to the wooden carvings, antique details, and surrounding greenery. The building as well as the rooms are truly beautiful, and the interiors are arranged with great taste. This is not something...

Just had 3 nights here and loved it, it is a very serene setting after the chaos of the traffic, pollution, sheer noise of what awaits outside the front doors of the hotel. Suites are huge and very comfotable. Bed was very large and firm. On a restaurant comment, all day menu in restaurant, standard, quite bland food, think sandwichs, wraps, fish...
