Very sweet family, good food and clean guesthouse, resonable price. Situated between Swaymbunat and Downtown (Thamel), within 10min walking. You will love the food! The host will give you all recommendations about sightseing, hiking, tracking. Wifi works reliable (for Nepal standards).

I just stayed there for a couple of days and I had a very good experience with them. They supported me during my trip and offered help when I needed it. I was treated like part of the family and that is a very rare thing to find nowadays. The hotel is very well located, they offer home-made food and...

Nakul and family are absolutely superb. During the April 2015 earthquake, when we were all sleeping outside in fear of aftershocks, they kept up a constant supply of coffee, curry and good humour that got us through the crisis with a minimum of trauma. I truly don't believe there can have been a more comfortable or reassuring place to hide...

My friend and I stayed at the hotel for several nights. The hotel is about 15 minutes' walk from Thamel in a residential area. The walk is fine but take a torch with you if y are returning in the dark as some of the streets outside Thamel are poorly lit. Taxi drivers don't know where the hotel is so...

The location is nice, far away from Thamel ( but also from all restaurants and shopping areas), near the Hanuman temple. The house itself is very nice too. What disturbed me were the constant attempts by the manager to push me compulsively into eating each day three times his overexpensive food and his interogations about travel plans, to push equally...

The host and his family are wonderful. I stay there from 31 dec 2014 to 4 jan 2015. The room is spacious and clean. The dog is lovely. The Hotel (more like guesthouse) situate between swamyambhunath and Thamel. Easy to walk to both direction. I will stay there again in my next visit.

We initially booked for three nights to give us time to sort out a trek. We ended up going back there after the trek and staying for another 5 nights. The building is great - set about 15 minutes outside Thamel, half way to the Monkey Temple. It has privacy behind a tall gate which means that you can enjoy...

The GH locates very close to the "Monkey Temple", although it is a little bit far from the Thamile. It Looks like the owner turned his own house into this guesthouse, so all rooms are very spacious and cozy. PS. There is also a dog welcoming all guests :)

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if in Kathmandu. The hotel is more of a home then a sterile hotel providing you with a lovely couch to relax and watch the TV along with the company of Forest the hotel dog. The hotel is out of the hustle and bustle of Thamel providing you with a lovely roof...
