I stayed here for 1 full night and had a late check out (8pm) the next day. It is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful place set within a very short walking distance of Thamel. There is a beautiful garden area surrounding the hotel and a lovely rooftop. Morning yoga and meditation is offered in the garden, this is such a...

The Kantipur Temple House really is unique in the Thamel area for being a hotel designed in the Newari style. This does make the hotel a lot more interesting than the standard generic hotels found in most other places in Thamel. The service is also very friendly and helpful. The only downside to this hotel is that it is a...

Since I last visited this architectural treasure, the road leading to it has been paved and whilst the hotel is situated on the edge of Thamel, its well kept gardens and buildings retain an air of peace and tranquility in contrast to the bussle outside. Charming staff in traditional dress make visitors feel part of the local culture and the...

This hotel stands above the rest when considering architecture and aesthetic appeal. It looks like an ancient temple and has beautifully furnished rooms and a wonderful lobby which is well-appointed with ancient Nepali antiques. The aesthete will love staying in this fine hotel, the most beautiful in Thamel.

Typical small beautiful hotel at thamel. It like home away from home. Morden aminities with typical hotel. Very nice woodcarving window and door. If you are searching for good hotel then this is a best place to stay. My big recommend to all of you. Come and feel like home.

We were very glad we chose this hotel a bit removed from the chaos of Thamel but still close to restaurants and sights. It is on a quiet lane and no noise to be heard at night. You can use the series of intersecting lanes to reach some excellent restaurants without going out to the dusty, busy Main Street. We...
