I stayed here for a few days and loved everything about it. The rooms were neat and tidy; the bathrooms were clean and well appointed; the food in the restaurant was delicious and available 24/7; but my favorite part was the staff. OH, and the roof top garden with views of the beautiful Himalayas all around.

This is a good local hotel for travellers based in Kathmandu for a few days; although it could benefit overall from an upgrade, the rooms were clean (we stayed several times on this trip using Kathmandu as a base for other excursions) and the restaurant serves reliably good food in large portions for breakfast and dinner (we did not try...

Stayed here with a friend on December 4-6,and really enjoyed our stay. The rates were great during this low season, which made it very affordable. Breakfast is a must have here, great selection! Avoid the chai though, it's not the same as Indian chai. Enjoy the yard area with a wall waterfall, very serene. The restaurant downstairs was open late,...

Right at the heart of Thamel. If you up for shopping, loud music and cultural experience its a good choice. Lots of foreigners stays in the area. Hotel cleanliness is good but terrible bathroom. water system is not good at all, plus the elevator is not always open. Food at the restaurant was good. Staffs are friendly.

The reception is very helpful and speak well english. The rooms are nice and mine had a beautiful painting on the wall. The breakfast was the highlight. You can have toast, musli, fresh omelet, potatoes, vegetables and more... The kitchen is also very good and i think well known in Kathmandu. They forgot my laundry but it was no problem...

Very roomy reception areas with better than average restaurant. Rooms at the front were very good but those at the back were a bit dark. Hot water was typically unreliable. Several PCs available but lacking Office and similar software so only useful for email or Facebook. Staff were always helpful.

A group of us stayed in this hotel in November, 2016. The pictures looked nice, especially compared to the other hotels we stayed in during our almost 2 week visit to Nepal. However, upon arrival, the manager informed us that they were out of room in the main hotel and that we'd be staying in their second building across the...

5 years in a row and thinking back to the earthquake they went out of their way to help people. Far from fancy, internet and power sporadic (like the rest of ktm), but they have my vote! I use it as my base when guiding in nepal, very useful shops nearby, easy to walk to swayambudnath and go for a...
