Though the name says " Ashram" but it is not an ashram as such by definition. It's a small resort run by group of young people with an idea to give different touch. Hotel offers simple clean room in a relatively peaceful place little bit outside of Kathmandu valley. They provide simple Nepali meal consisting of organically grown vegetable. They...

You have yoga classes and guided meditations going on during the day and even times for celebration. Staff is so much helpful, food is amazing...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ashram. The food is delicious, the grounds are beautiful and the meditation classes with the swamee were wonderful. The wifi wasn't working (which I've read is common in other reviews below). I also didn't have hot water, but I was used to that problem at every other hotel I stayed at in Nepal,...

I can't really explain how I feel about this place. I had a lovely time there - it was a huge relief to arrive after the chaos in Thamel. But I just felt it was more touristic then authentic - maybe that's because of the cost to stay there? They charge $50/night & there was no hot water or working...

Arriving at Divya Ashram, weary from and of India, I was taken aback to be personally met by Swami Gyan Dipak. My surprise continued when he pulled up a chair at the ancient timber slices that serve as coffee tables in the reception area, and indicated me to sit and talk with him, And then you can rest and we...

First of all I qould like to address some of the points and sentiments thw previous reviewer made. I met and meditating with this person, this was on my first visit to Divya Ashram.
