Not good value for money, compared to other hotels in Kathmandu. Booked two nights at the 'Le Village' resort on the basis of other Trip Advisor recommendations. I found it very disappointing. After 6pm there was no power and you therefore had to eat the evening meal in the cafe before 6pm. Water is variable, so a good shower was...

We originally booked this property for a very pragmatic reason. It was south of Katmandu, saving us considerable driving/traffic time on the way to DakShinkali, the Hindu temple that has animal sacrifice ceremonies every Tuesday and Saturday. Truly one of the great places to stay in. All the rooms are interior designed to the highest standard, with antiques, old wood carvings, statues.
