For $20 a night I only wanted a clean room, nice bed, and screens on the windows. The hotel is very nice, with great terraces and views, an exceptionally friendly staff, good food, alcohol, etc.. I wanted a scooter and they helped me get one, no problem, no hassle. Everything worked great - the heater, hot water from the shower,... More

I stayed at blue horizon for some days and liked the atmosphere, the very kind and flexible staff, the nice garden where I had several cups of milk tea. The hotel is close to the main shopping mile and the tourist bus Green Line

We have stayed the last 16 years at Hotel Blue Horizon to complete satisfaction. Airport pickup, quiet location close to Garden of Dreams, an under-rated restaurant for all meals and friendly staff. Did I mention the sunny rooftops where you can dry clothes and lots of hot water? We left there only last Saturday back to Australia and miss our... More

Positioned about a two minute walk from the crazy part of Thamel and one minute from Greenline Coach's and the Garden of Dreams, tucked away at the end of a lane, the Hotel is an oasis of calm. I had one of the old cheaper rooms, but it was adequate, had everything and superb value. They also have more modern... More

Tucked away down a quiet side street with a great little garden this is a perfect place to relax from the sensory onslaught that is Kathmandu. Rooms are basic but clean, staff are friendly and the breakfasts are great. They picked me up from the airport and arranged bus tickets for no extra cost and it was good value for... More

Kathmandu is a great destination for those looking for a different atmosphere. Kathmandu is very knowledgeable about the people of tourism. Professional tour companies. You deliver yourself enough. Leave the rest to them. Blue Horizon hotel's tour guides are pretty good. The hotel is ideal for those who want a quiet holiday. The Blue Horizon Good for Nepal
