This gem is close to major attractions and reasonable rates. The staff are very friendly and remembered me from a previous visit in 2015. I felt valued and the quality of the services have continued to improve in the aftermath of the Earthquake. The rooms are comfortable and clean and with breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere, it encourages guest mingling...

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. The first time was last year May and it was such a pleasant experience that my mum and I immediately agreed that we would stay here again. It's very near the Thamel and yet there's no excessive noise and somehow even Kathmandu's pollution seems very far away. I always thought...

This is my second stay in hotel Ganesh Himal. It's like a small oasis in the middle of Kathmandu. Close to shopping in Thamel, but yet quiet. Wonderful garden. Quiet at night, apart from the dogs, but then again they are everywhere. Hot water, good beds, nice staff. Perfect

Great rooms, top notch food and exceptional, friendly staff. On the edge of Thamel, far enough away from the noise and hubbub but still within easy walking distance of the center. The relaxing quiet garden, spacious outdoor balconies on each floor and a roof garden are also worth mentioning. I have stayed here on 4 seperate occasions and will be...

We stayed at the Ganesh Hotel in Nepal for three nights and enjoyed it very much. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful at any times. Sitting in the backyard enjoying tea or breakfast is a relaxing contrast to the busy streets of Kathmandu. The hotel is close (walking distance) to the major sights or streets. We would recommend...

I HIGHLY recommend the Hotel Ganesh Himal. It is a beautiful, quiet sanctuary in the middle of bustling Kathmandu, within a few minutes walk of Thamel, the tourist district. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The garden is beautiful, with lots of flowers, prayer flags, birds, and candles at night. There is lots of hot shower water, strong wifi connection,...

This place is certainly one of the best Hotel I have stayed during my trip to Nepal. I have stayed many times in this Hotel. They have a beautiful garden restaurant with good food and I always enjoy having good time there reading books and to meet people. The location to Thamel or Kathmandu Square is within a walking distance.
