Stayed again at Sacred Valley. Same warm welcome and the "Meet you from the bus or plane" service is excellent. Have lost count of the times we stayed, or brought others, and they all like it. The rooftop terrace is lovely, the food very good indeed, the advice is honest, reliable and well informed, the rooms clean, comfortable and well...

This place is amazing. It's in the Thamel tourist area but down a quieter road. It's near the excellent Gaia restaurant too. It's right next to the fairly high-end Holy Himalaya and Fuji hotels and miraculously offers the same high standard of luxury, if not more, seeing as our room had a tv and was huge, for less than half...

This was our second time here and we will be back again. Location is great, right in the middle of Thamel but it's in a quiet laneway (except for the pigeons). The restaurant upstairs is fantastic and the guys that work there are just lovely. The food is cheap and very tasty. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They...

Having stayed in a very basic place in the middle of noisy, chaotic Thamel on the first night of our trip, we decided to stay at Sacred Valley for our last night, because it's in a quiet street, still right in Thamel but away from all the hussle and bussle, in a residential kind of area. Also, we'd stayed at...

This hotel is 2 minutes walking from the busy streets of Thamel. The place is clean and there's friendly and helpfull staff. The beds are soft, we had such a good night after our 36hr trip to Kathmandu. I have been h 3 times, every time for not more than 2 nights because the place is a bit expensive. Although...

Stayed at the Sacred Valley Inn twice, for one night each, before and after going on the Langtang Trek in April 2014. The first time around, we got our rooms in the older wing. The rooms were a bit damp, and the showers weren't in that great a condition. The second time, got the rooms in the refurbished wing, right...

This is probably one of the best places to stay in Thamel. Its a little tucked away from the main madness of Thamel so its close enough to stumble in after a long night's fun. Their rooms are quite functional with a basic set of amenities. Some of the rooms have balconies. But being bang in the middle of tourist...

Sacred Valley Inn in Kathmandu was my base for six weeks when travelling in Nepal and Bhutan and quickly became a home from home. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff are simply great. Always a smile to greet you and really can't do enough to ensure your time in Nepal is as good as possible. The hotel...

We were a big group of 16 travelling around Nepal. We were in the Chitwan when we realised that we had nowhere to stay when going back to the city, we picked this place out of the lonely planet without looking at any review purely because of the location and cheap price. We hit the jackpot, they were able to...
