I stayed here for one week at the room on the very top of the building. This is 'room 502.' It's got the best view over the lake and there's a private balcony. It cost $36 per night which is expensive for Pohkora but the sunsets and sunrises were worth every penny. The staff are exceptional here. I travelled alone...

We ended up here due to the man at the bus park being rather insistant. It happened to work out fine. We had a 3rd floor room as they were painting the inside to tidy it up. The room was a 3 bed room and a plentiful size and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and a good shower. The only thing...

We initially stayed at a previous guesthouse in Pokhara but wasn't happy with it so we walked and walked, looking at quite a few but Tropicana was the best. The rooms in Pokhara - they are either too expensive or really cheap but too basic and uncomfortable, although it depends what you're looking for too. Price: We had a doubleroom...

We came here in December, the winter night freezing, yet glimmering with stars over the lake--. The view from the top terrace is something to remember. Although electricity is sparse in this area, the owner actually managed to get us electric ovens for the night. My fiancee came down with a fever after the temperature dropped below zero, and there...

Headed to Pokhara again after 5 years and stayed at Hotel Tropicana for 10 nights. Overall, the rooms and toilet was very clean. It was situated at a good location in between the main bazaar and the villages to go for walks. I found the service to be average. Overall, I have no complains given that they charged a really...

The room was nice, clean, almost everything except some power points worked. But we paid $15 negotiated from $17 without breakfast, too much for the area, when occupancy was maybe 60%. It's far north from lakeside, but not that near north lakeside. And when we went to buy bus tickets outside the owner encouraged us to buy with him, assuring...

Great place, extremely friendly staff. We were here for a month doing our medical elective nearby and it became a home away from home. Nice location and we had a room with a great view of the lake. Clean rooms, good hot showers, we couldn't have asked for more!

After being guided by my trusty guide book, I called Hotel Tropicana in advance as I would be arriving in Pokhara after dark. The staff was very friendly and assured me that they would hold a room for me. I arrived later than previously expected but when I arrived at Tropicana, I was greeted and shown a room. The room...
