Very old hotel, lift is very cramped, breakfast is so-so and everyday is the same and not much choices, no smoking and bad ventilation in the hotel, Not a good choice for the price we paid for as we took a room with windows. Have to hand over door keys every time we go out, inconvenient. If you are paying... More

Yes, the rooms are a little tired, but the room had a fridge, it's convenient for the airport bus and the metro, and there are plenty of restaurants around. We had a room without a window but it was OK - there was a kind of fake window with a light behind it. There wasn'the a wide choice at breakfast,... More

Great location. Metro less than 5 minutes away as is the airport bus. Plenty of shops and great restaurants nearby. The daytime staff is very helpful. The room was small and dated. The air con is off all day so the room is hot and humid when you return but it cools off quickly. Unfortunately the air con temp cannot... More

I like the location, quite close to the MRT Zhongshan station. Close to big shopping mall, and the Underground shopping street, which is quite nice. Quiet at night, good for light-sleeper. Staff is friendly. Room is not big but price is reasonable so didn't expect much. Toilet and shower are not separated, so things may get wet when you take... More

The hotel can be easily reached from the airport by bus 1819 ("Ambassador Hotel") and return by 1961 ("Grand Formasa Regent Taipei"). It is located in a quiet lane right, a 7/11 convenience store is right around the corner. It's a 5-minute-walk to the MRT Zhongshan. The hotel seems family-owned and staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms unfortunately are... More

Dahshin hotel is very near K Hotel Taipei I. Since there's no available room in K Hotel I for our extended stay, we opted to choose a nearby one. Dahshin is not bad when one only needs a place to stay after a long day. Interior is very simple. It's cheaper by a few hundred NT. Service is good. Can't... More

I stayed at B1 and the 6th floor on separate nights. Experience was pleasant. Rooms are very clean except for the smell of cigar when people smoke in the hotel and since its a central air-con system, I could smell smoke in my room and I immediately informed the staff. I went out for a quick bite and when I... More

We stayed for 6 nights at a room with a double bed in the middle of January 2014. I booked this hotel thorough a Japanese major hotel booking web service. We chose this hotel because of their good location and reasonable costs. From other travelers’ reviews, we already know that their facilities are old and some rooms have no window.... More

Its in an alley a few steps from the main road. The small building is old but management has kept the hotel tidy and neat. Rooms are kept clean all the time and amenities including bottled water are replenished daily. Included is a simple basic buffet breakfast (Chinese and Western). Location is very ideal - 5 minutes to MRT, lots... More
