This is a very decent hotel for business visitors to Taipei. The lobby and surrounds are a bit austere but the rooms are very nicely appointed and very comfortable indeed. The bar is also a bit soulless but, deciding we needed a nightcap, we decided to give it a shot. I was a little worried that the young waiter was...

Have stayed at this hotel previously have always enjoyed our stay here. The location is convenient as it is close to 101 where there is plenty of shopping and restaurants. This was our first time here with a baby so didn't know what to expect. As I am a SPG platinum member, we got to check in in their lounge...

The hotel was ideally situated for me as my office is just across the road. The staff here are always very friendly and can't do enough to help. Their English is also very good (which is great!). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bed is so good you won't want to get up in the morning! As I...

Friendly and approachable staff. Room well lit with nice view of the city. Breakfast selection is a bit more limited than the usual Asian Hotel, surprisingly, no dim sum selection. Swimming pool is a bit chilly even though it was supposed to be heated.

I just got back from a 6 night stay in Taipei. It was my first trip to Taipei since 1991. I could not thank the staff better for 1) efficiency 2) kindness 3) professionalism. We got in at 9am in the morning...and that's very early for check in. But were able to get us in our room after a 13...

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for a total of 5 nights. We chose the standard room during our stay. We did not know anything much about this hotel except that it was well located and there was a credit card promotion going on from our country. This hotel is new. The room layout is very good. There...

Stayed at this hotel for the past few visits to Taipei. Location is central and i like the fact that great food, whether it is restaurant or street fare is around the corner. It is also near to telcos which allows me to sort out my local phone cards and reduce my IDD charges. Rooms are nice, spacious and amenities...

Excellent hotel! Room is self sufficient, very clean and the bed is huge, plush and most importantly very comfortable! They have air purifiers every single inch of this hotel, even in the rooms. You will be able to feel the difference the moment you step through the main entrance, as the air in Taipei is quite polluted if I must...

Room: Spacious and nice design with very big bathroom. Was very nice to be upgraded to junior suite as a SPG PT. Layout is very good, but in no way luxuriously made. Breakfast is poor for the hotel of this price in my opinion. Club Lounge(staff is excellent here) is small, but hardly occupied by the guest. Happy hour cosisted...

The Meridien was a great hotel a couple of years ago with an awesome restaurant. Now, it s only a great hotel in an excellent environment near the famous 101 landmark tower with all shopping malls n restaurants around, but the restaurant is just average. Service could be better, English seems to be a very foreign language. I need to...
