Super duper awesome hotel. Love the room. The in room hot spring is wonderful. The public one was so fun! It was raining the whole day we were there but the recreation room had a ping pong table and billiard table to occupy us. Restaurant serves good food. Front desk very helpful in guiding us for sightseeing around Yangmingshan. Will...

If you like hotspring, esp. getting yourself soaked within the hotspring during winter or early spring, this is the place to be, where I like - (1) The hotspring with a light sulfur content is milky, and it is soothing and therapeutic to your skin, where after 2 to 3 times (each time 5-10 minutes) soak, you feel relaxed and...

Room is big and the in-room hotspring is great to have. There is also shared hotspring and swimming pool. Only qualm is the service is slow and the buffet breakfast is limited. Understaff and there isn't enough food for the guests.

We stayed at Landis Resort for one night at the end of July as a family of four. We had spent a few days in Taroko National Park and stayed here before our flight out of Taipei the next day. We arrived early evening and left the next morning so didn’t spend a huge amount of time here, but I’ll...

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in, and is a classic example of a hotel "resort" near a popular attraction resting on their laurels. The staff, despite speaking decent English, are very incompetent and make the least effort possible. Cleaning staff space out and leave their equipment in the room. The hotel itself is in disrepair,...

The spa was great. Perfect for sore muscles after hiking in nearby hills. Food in restaurant OK/average at best. Shocked and very disappointed to see shark fin soup page! Awful. Did not eat in hotel again after that. Other excellent choices in walking distance. Staff on front desk helpful and English good. Good with local knowledge on YangMing Shan Park....

The staff are beyond excellent - very helpful, friendly. All staff can communicate very well in English. The buffet breakfast was extensive, including my favorite smoked salmon with capers, red onion, lemon & French bread. A complimentary fresh fruit bowl and drinking water replenished daily Plus hotel have a bakery on the ground floor & the pool

Five-Star rated with good Three-Star service. Reception helpful and supportive with good solutions, its a good stay and guest oriented focus. Restaurant service personnel for dinner unexperienced. Room equipment is Japanese style, offers everything except shoehorns. SPA a genuine hot spring. The place is just too far from Taipei for sightseeing. For booking one has to be sure if he...

Disclaimer - Facilities only, not hotel accommodation review My kids and I have spent a few weekend afternoon here at the Landis Resort pool and restaurant escaping from the humidity and heat in Taipei City. It's a short drive away and the crowd has always been manageable. The locker room that's adjacent to the onsen facilities is clean and has...

I really like the design of the hotel and the tranquility it extrudes. In particular the Japanese style of bathroom with large glass panel overlooks the garden is one the rare scene for hotels in Taiwan. The breakfast was excellent with so many choices of dishes. Overall it is a nice hotel to stay but also costs somewhat, after all,...
