Poor internet Speed & keep stopping & I have to keep ringing up reception to get it fix and the management is ancient. They don't understand my wife, two teenage children & I need the internet connection to run my business & keep contact with our home country. Sack the present management & start again with young technology geek who...

The room is spacious, consider clean. We like the bathtub there. Xi Men street is just 8 minutes walking distance, but the street is a bit dark and silent during night. Breakfast is okay, not much variety.

Outdated hotel, past its prime! Cleanliness is questionable. Unsure if there were bedbugs but several of the people in our group staying there woke up with red itchy spots on our arms/legs/back. Terrible service with reception staff who do not care at all. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the train station so not too bad if you are healthy...

This is my third time in Taipei and the Riverview staff shocked me with their cold demeanor. Taiwanese people are usually very accommodating and helpful, but the staff at this hotel were very... uncaring. Since this hotel costs easily double of what other hotels in the area charge, you'd think the experience would be at least OK. I dont recommend...

Hi I was there for 2 separate nights when I was in Taipei, 1st and last day of my trip. Generally quite like the hotel, room size is reasonable, breakfast ok with great views and very clean. It is very near Ximending and we can walk there in 5-10 mins back lane. The room view however is not fantastic as...

Nice hotel . Spacious comfortable, brightly Lit room , well equipped. Clean and nice . I paid less than US$100 for a very nice room . Very pleased with the room . The service staff is polite and friendly . Location is 30 mins walkaway from the nearest subway station but the hotel provides shuttle service . Value for money

This hotel has a great location not far from many attractions but is old and not so comfortable. Girl at the reception was almost rude, the room is ok .... you can have breakfast which is good and chinese style.

We stayed at this hotel for a conference, and for a later pre-departure overnight. From the reviews posted here I expected a grotty, dispiriting budget hotel. In fact, the Riverview is a lovely, very decent and comfortable small hotel with an extraordinarily friendly and competent staff. There are two buildings -- the original and a free-standing annex reached via the...
