Today we ate at Baan Dinso for lunch and I have to say that it was a great find. Freshly cooked food, affordable, air con and clean surroundings- just the ticket in between sight seeing on a hot day. :)

This hotel is the best option if you are going to visit Bangkok for 2 or 3 days. Is well located, very clean, small but has it own charm. Exactly as the pictures they post. The breakfast is nice and the staff is really kind and help you as much as they can. Particularly Be. I used the laundry service...

A wonderful quiet place in the busy city of Bangkok. Nice rooms, a wonderful garden, great breakfast and lovely and very friendly staff. We stayed here at the beginning of our Thailand vacation and will be back for the last to days of our stay.

Rooms are cute and very clean. The cats that roam the property (specifically the orange house cat) made me miss home and my two cats less, he's so friendly! All staff are extremely kind, I arrived super late around 2 or 3am and was greeted with a smile and kindness. They all say hello and smile and make guests feel...

A peaceful spot tucked away just off a busy street. Easy to access Palaces, Temples etc plus Khao San area. Compact rooms were all we needed (we had ensuite). Staff very friendly and helpful. Inclusive breakfast good. Ideal for our 3 day stay and would recommend. Particularly enjoyed "Midnight Food Tour" by Tuk Tuk. Only negative - hard mattresses but...

I recently visited this place with a friend. We had arrived in Thailand very late the night before, so we were having a wander and stumbled across Baan Dinso. We didn't stay here as we had pre booked accommodation elsewhere but it looked a nice place to stop. We had fruit smoothies which were amazing and very reasonably priced. The...

Definitely a good choice to stay at a fair price and convenient location. Rooms are small, but spotless clean (best cleanliness I found so far in my trip around Asia); breakfast is gorgeous with 3 different choices to suit everyone all freshly made and well presented; the shared bathrooms and toilets are absolutely clean and there's lot of room to...

When i first entered the hotel, maybe due to my late arrival which is slightly after midnight, the staff was not too welcoming and friendly. He seemed to want to hurriedly check me in and did not seem interested to answer my queries. Nevertheless, the room is clean and cozy and the shared bathroom is clean and well maintained too.

A beautiful boutique hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff. It is very well located, within walking distance of the Royal Palace and surrounding temples. The breakfast is incredible and the rooms are beautifully decorated. I loved this hotel and plan to return next year with my son.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

“You can find plenty of choices of food on the street one minute away from the hostel. If you can, only pay the room price without the option of breakfast, as the breakfast served by the hostel is far too simple but expensive considering the price of 200 Thai Baht. With the 200 Thai Baht, one can easily get a big and delicious meal in the local restaurants nearby.”
