I stayed here already a few times before; they offer nice, simple, clean rooms at an unbeatable rate for this area. I love to spend time in the Silomarea and then this is ideal located. All the rooms have a different decoration. I believe there's a dorm to, but that is not my thing anymore. The staff is extremely helpfull...

Due to the tight budget, we found this hotel with good reviews on many website and also personal blog. Most people would said it is better than the price they paid, and i agree too. First at all, we select the cheapest double room cost THB800/night per room with breakfast. When we arrive on late evening, we found out the...

I stayed in this hotel overnight, this is a budget hotel which is reasonably clean for its price point with a complementary breakfast thrown in. This is in the heart of the city and very closely located to most of the happening places in and around BKK. It is also connected well thru the MRT. I was a walk-in guest...

I visit Bangkok a few times a year and I stayed here in June 2011 and was very satisfied with the experience, so booked in again for September. Everything was equally as good. For me, travelling solo on this trip again made this an excellent choice, value for money and central enough to get everywhere after a few minutes walk...

Our stay at Take a nap hostel provided to be a good decision: we got the service and value we paid for. The rooms are very artsy and unique, although they're not too spacious if your trying to squeeze in 3 people for a room for 2. For me, the location is ideal since the hostel is a good 10-minute...

Just be aware of the location. It is not the best spot. The airport is clear across town, the train station is about 30 minutes away and the bus station takes two hours to get to. The staff was very nice and helpful and as everywhere we stayed in Thailand they can arrange transportation, tours, etc. Just remember it is...

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights at Take a Nap. We booked the twin room "Pub" and had a very good night's rest. The rooms at Take a Nap have individual themes. Room and towels are clean. Beds are comfortable and big. Bathroom is clean and has liquid soap and shampoo. Very convenient. It comes with a continental...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
