Having stayed at Starwood Hotels since 2000, I have to say that Le Meridien Bangkok has to be one of the best in terms of service. Always friendly, polite and professional, the staff at the door, front desk, concierge and lobby made our stay really welcome. It is a shame that we had to leave a day earlier due to...

I am a lifetime platinum member and this is my second stay at this property. I can comfortably say this is my favorite Starwood property. From small towns through to ski resorts this property is tops in my books. My first stay was outstanding and sometimes this may be a one off. My second stay proved that this property has...

You can see from the reviews, three times more excellent than very good, its true. Positives - New hotel with modern styling. Really polite and professional staff in front office from doorman, receptionist to concierge. I had a standard king room and it was great. The breakfast was vast and had a tonne to choose from. I have stayed at this hotel over a half dozen times over the years, and keep coming back. I have stayed in their basic room which is nice, but their suite are over the top! The hotel's breakfast has everything you would want, and the room service is very good too. There are plenty of eating options just outside the...

I've just returned home after spending 5 nights at Le Meridien, Bangkok. Arrived at CDG Paris at about 7am, and then took the airport train, and BTS into the city, with luggage (not a good idea during peak hour). I rocked up to the hotel at about 09:00am, and asked them whether it would be possible to store my bags...

The quality of the service is great at this hotel, conveniently located near a BTS Skytrain station within short walking distance, with quality amenities and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of options, enough to suit every tastebud. The complementary evening cocktails and capes is well worth due to the wide variety of liqueurs available and unlimited...

Check in on 22 May for 1N I ask to use the lounge and was quoted 6000 Baht/night inclusive of breakfast, but at check out I was quoted 1000B extra. For the hotel limousine to airport, I have my Thai guest who happens to live along the way to the airport. The driver refuse to make a short turn in...

Dear Louis L, Thank you for sharing feedback with us and rest assured that the difficulty you faced is now being investigated. Staff is warm, friendly and very much service-oriented in its approach. That goes for everybody, whether it is the doorman, the receptionist or the ladies serving in the bar. Cool place to stay in a vibrant part of town providing for great comfort and cosy ambiance.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
