A great place to stay as long as the location meets your needs. Very modern and open lobby. Great service. Love the rooms and how the bathroom functions and opens to the room. Restaurants are very good as well. I had great service using the hotel airport limo service. Swimming pool area is a bit underwhelming, but yet very comfortable...

very special hotel with a special touch. service was exquisite, over the top. It's a very trendy hotel with attention to detail and a sense on how to create a special atmosphere. Definitely a place to stay it you are looking for something particular, while appreciating 21 century design. Rooms equipped with the latest gadgets and to the latest standards....

We stayed here in Nov and again in Dec 2013 for a total of 4 nights. Reception was very good both times, ( Vivien ), along with the rooms and breakfast, but the highlight was the Cocktail Bar and the girls working there, who have an amazing team spirit and rapport with all of the clients, ( Nuchie & Jackie...

Luxury facilities and warm service are offered. The rent is more expensive than nearby hotels. Hence save time to enjoy at hotel is wise. More than 2 days is definitely adequate. You can relax after whole day trip. Breakfast is wonderful, but remember to keep space in your stomach for Thai cuisine.

This was our first visit to Bangkok and was glad we decided to stay at the Le Meridien. The room and facilities are top notch and the service was beyond great. You easily got the sense that the Le Meridien management must treat their staff well as everyone seem genuinely happy and willing to assist you. We also appreciated the...

This is one of my favorite hotels having stayed there many times. The staff are very friendly and always willing to assist. The location near the patpong night market can't be beat. Only a few minutes walk to the MRT or BTS trains. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of great food. I have only had one complaint about...

We have often stayed in Bangkok, usually for only a few days before moving on to other destinations in Thailand or SE Asia. This was our first time at Le Meridien, and we were pleased with our decision. The rooms are wonderful, electronically controlled blinds, breathtaking views and very clean (but no drawer space!). Bathroom area could not be faulted....

I decided to try this hotel on my recent visit in early December. As a SPG Platinum, I was upgraded to a suite and allowed to check in early (which was fantastic as I was exhausted after 26 hours on a plane). I mentioned in passing to reception that I would be leaving very early the next day and was...

We are regular Bangkok visitors and decided to try out Le Meridien. We spent 7 nights in the hotel on an executive package, which includes evening drinks in the bar, breakfast and internet. The Good: Staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. (As in almost all top Thai hotels). Breakfast was good with a large selection to cater for all...

This was a highlight of my stay in Bangkok. The buffet wasn't quite as good in terms of certain dishes vis a vis the Mandarin Oriental (don't get me wrong -- it is still very very good -- just the Oriental has set a very high bar), but the service was 10 stars. It was attentive, thoughtful, prompt -- and...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
