Stayed here for one night emroute to Samui. Right in the hussle and bussle of khao San road great location. Friendly staff, basic but spacious room. Comfy beds and Pillows. Lovely food downstairs but food is top notch and cheap wherever you eat locally. Taxi yo airport via reception seemed high 550b as per Meter should have been 260b, so...

If you are looking for authentic Thai food, look elsewhere. Green curry was sweet like a dessert and Tom Yam was not spicy at all. Probably mellowed down for the tourists. Not worth you cents if your looking for authentic Thai food.

Stayed here during Songkram. Nice location. Sat on the patio and had dinner and watched all the fun in the street. Rooms were basic but had everything needed. Especially air conditioning! The area was very easy for walking around and shopping and tuk tuks are readily available if you want to travel to night market or just check out another...

Kind of an older hotel. The air conditioning worked well in the room. It is in a good location. There is a restaurant in the main floor that is open 24 hours. The wifi did not work while we were there. They said it was going to be fixed each day but never worked. I'd stay again I think.

Villa Cha Cha offers a complete combination of good things. Best location. Right in the middle of things but away from the noise. Good restaurant with great pizza. Front desk is friendly with English speaking personnel. Tour desk which is very efficient. Price offers great value Close to many sights

So after we decided we must have a pool we scoured over the reviews, looked at pics, and setted on this hotel. We arrived excited...the little alleyway, decorated with bamboo walls looked cute and quaint and we smelled fresh baked bread, so we were stoked! We had yet again discovered a hidden gem. So far, we have been extremely pleased...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
