The staff were very friendly and welcoming, also very helpful with suggestions of where to go, how to get there, what to see. The room was average; spacious and air-conditioned. It was a quiet place very near the bustling night-life and close to the train station, so easy to get around. I would recommend Baan Saladaeng as an affordable option...

Stayed at Baan Saladaeng for three nights earlier this week in a suite room. Reflections on our stay: each suite has a "theme", ours was called the Blue Room. All this meant was that the room was painted in blue and in the bathroom the sink and tub were blue. The room itself was spacious, around 40 sq metres, with...

Really helpful staff, willing to help with anything and happy to suggest places to go and things to do. Felt very welcomed and well treated. Good breakfast. Nice room. Well located. All very clean. Not a bad thing to say. Very highly recommended

Make a reservation for room 501, then you have your own private bath on the balcony, "away from prying eyes" as the website mentions. It was wonderful to bathe after a full day of explorations in Bangkok. We loved the location in a sidestreet: very quiet. Only disadvantage were the many steps to reach our room; there is no elevator....

very nicely designed little hotel right in Silom. Perfect for people who don't want to walk much or take a taxi. The place is simple and clean, the staff very friendly. Considering how central it is, it's value for money.Located in a side alley it's relatively quiet.

Clean and functional the rooms are very good value for the price. it is not a luxury hotel but good value. the only problem is that there is no elevator and that could be a drag for the higher floors for mature...

The location of this place is great, and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is simple, but good. The room was nice, but could use a little work. We stayed in the Urban Resort Suite. We didn't mind the teeny tiny and steep stairs, but could see how they could be a problem for some.

We only stayed one night - the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is a great base for exploring BKK and it is nice that it is located down a quiet side street. It is 5 minutes from the Sky Train and lots of restaurants and bars. We stayed in the only room that isn't en suite as...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
