We booked the suite for 3 people and the room was perfect for the price we paid. Good location close to the Sky Train station and quiet. The staff is very kind and helpful. We arrived from the night train at 10h15 when breakfast was already over but they kindly offer us to fix a breakfast for us. Would recommend...

The place is simple but clean, cozy and well located. Really cheap compared to BKK prices. Complimentary soft drink all day long. Close to main road and to skytrain. I've payed for upgrade to room with window but there wasn't any window :)

Of all the traveling I did in SE Asia, Bangkok proved the most annoying to book a room -- way too many choices that were all more expensive than the rest of our travels. All I require is a clean room, working bathroom, AC, in a decent location for a reasonable price and you know what, this place did that....

ROOMS: - We booked 2 rooms for 5 persons. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Suites at level 3 are huge and with balcony which my 3 friends were happy with that. Twin room at level 2 is slightly smaller where the bathroom sink is out there beside the washroom. But we have no problem with that. Baan Saladaeng also...

We only stayed one night, our last in Thailand, but our experience was very good. The rooms are simple, contemporary design with exposed concrete, etc. Very nice and clean and well kept. The staff was helpful in suggesting restaurants nearby when we arrived (of which there are many...great location for wandering and stumbling on great stuff) and they we're extremely...

I stayed at Baan Sala Daeng at the end of January. The guest house is centrally located close to the Skytrain and Silom subway; as it is in a alley, rooms are not noisy. Great furnishings, large rooms, cleanliness. Helpful and smiling people. Breakfast included.

Nice hotel, with convenient location for Silom. Clean spacious rooms & comfortable beds. Disadvantages were some noise from aircon units outside (possibly adjacent buildings) & the windows only have blinds rather than curtains, so light is only partially shut out. I expect to stay here again.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
