The hotel itself is situated right on a 7/11 on khao san road and not where it says ln this offline app so we had some trouble finding it.
Pros- The hotel lobby is very nice and the rooftop pool is really nice with decent...More
It won't blow you away but it's alright if you're looking for a hotel on Khao San Road instead of a hostel. The location is fantastic - you're right in the heart of it (and by 'it' I mean the madness and uniqueness of Khao...More

Great little spot, where if you want to stay on the action but be able to retreat back to the rooftop pool and relax. Music on the khao San seems to get shut down around 12.30/1am so wasn't an issue for our group. Price was...More

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

When this happens to us we usually book that night at the hotel that you fly in even though you won't be there til say 230 in the morning, it'll be fine to check in when you get there, someone will be in the night shift. It's nice to go and have a bit of a sleep when you get in that late. Traffic won't be too bad that time of night so I'd say if you fly in by 1230 you would be at the hotel by 230am,possibly 2am if the airport is not too busy. Go downstairs at the airport and get a taxi, you take a ticket from a machine and go to that number marked in the taxi parking area and ask for Khao San Rd and Rikka Inn, tell them it's the burger king end if they don't know the hotel, you'll see the sign up high on the building.
