Stayed here two nights and room was basic but clean and air conditioned. Was an ideal location for young tourists and it is situated on a very popular road. Wasn't too noisy at night but other guests came in very late during the night.

Good clean rooms. Super location in amongst the hectic koh san. No noise at night with air con drowning out the noise from street. Just off the street far enough to get a breather from the chaos. Wifi ok. Better at different times of the day. (Early mornings). Would recommend and stay again. Budget clean hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the start of my backpacking trip. Paid £45 for 3 nights. Rooms were adequate. Had a safe which was useful. Bathroom could be improved though; shower was very weak. Pool was a bonus. It was very loud on a night time; a mixture of the busy road outside & drunken people on the corridors...

Only stayed in Bangkok one night which was a shame because I had a fantastic stay in the Rikka Inn. BAngkok was the first destination for me an my friends 18 day tour around Thailand. Although the rooms were small they were very neat and clean and for 30 bucks a night there was no complaints from me. The hotel...

Stayed here for three nights upon arriving in Bangkok alone. Location is koh san road so for those wanting calm surroundings it isn't the best, however for me this was perfect. Despite being located on the road I didn't have any problem with noise keeping me awake. Room was nice and modern, air con worked and was provided free water...

Main positive is it's prime location on koh San road, easy to get to the key attractions via tuk tuk but be aware not to get ripped off! Tuk tuk to mbk shopping mall cost 40 bhat for two people when the price initially started at 300 - always barter! Hotel was clean, very small but enough for backpackers and...

The hotel is well situated in the touristic area, good for partying and going out at night. Rooms are a lot smaller than what you can expect from the pictures. But the main problem is the follow up and they way they don't listen to the clients: we spent there two days, and during our stay the soap handle (made...

Rikka Inn is in an excellent location, amongst various markets and restaurants along Khao San road. The rooms are small with a little bathroom, however the shower is hot and the bed is hard but comfortable. There is often a lot of outside noise going on at all hours because of the location but the air conditioner helps to drown...

Rikka Inn was clean, had helpful service and was in a good location. Overall very impressed. One thing is that I could have been shown to my room; but that's just me being fussy! Khaosan road is ideal if nightlife, restaurants and a bit of fun is what you are looking for, however avoid if you are looking for peace...

Good hotel located on the Koh San Road, staff helpful and friendly. Light broke and a new one was provided and fitted within a few minutes. Room perhaps not as nice as appears in pictures but was perfectly adequate for what we wanted and roof top pool was a great bonus. 24 hour security made the hotel feel safe in...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
