Checked in about midday nice and easy. Managed to sleep ok with ear plugs, which are necessary if staying on Khao San road. Bathroom very small, the the shower manages to get everything soaking in there bathroom including the door. Complimentary water each day which...More
I will not stay there again. Very noisy because music all night in kao san road. Room is very small and not like in the website pictures. Everything is bad. They need to improve everything. A lot of work. Not a good stay at all...More
The noise wasn't too bad, just request a quieter room when you book. Rooms basic but kept nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Amazing location on KOH San road. Perfect for a few days exploring Bangkok!
Stayed here the first nights into our 3 month trip. Really good. Clean bed, good rooms, amazing pool. Staff was nice. Only downside, we wanted to check out one day early but they wouldn't give us a refund. The road behind Khosan road was actually...More
The hotel is right in the middle of Khaosan road, which was perfect for us. There was a bit of noise, but we had no trouble sleeping as this didn't go on until too late. The room was basic, but serves its purpose, bed, shower,...More
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

When this happens to us we usually book that night at the hotel that you fly in even though you won't be there til say 230 in the morning, it'll be fine to check in when you get there, someone will be in the night shift. It's nice to go and have a bit of a sleep when you get in that late. Traffic won't be too bad that time of night so I'd say if you fly in by 1230 you would be at the hotel by 230am,possibly 2am if the airport is not too busy. Go downstairs at the airport and get a taxi, you take a ticket from a machine and go to that number marked in the taxi parking area and ask for Khao San Rd and Rikka Inn, tell them it's the burger king end if they don't know the hotel, you'll see the sign up high on the building.
