I often go to Bangkok for business and personal reasons staying at many places as I enjoy variety. I stayed at Bourbon Street Boutique Hotel this time because of its centralized location especially for my particular needs on this trip. The rooms are extremely clean and well thought out having all the amenities a traveler could need. The bathrooms are...

We found out this place has packages for accommodation with transportation to the golf courses. We were a group of 4 guys and we stayed 3 nights. The rooms were really comfortable and clean with the private dining and living room on each floor. Great breakfast before leaving for golf and we played some world class golf courses each day...

We are a family of 5 and we booked the family room. It is a great to stay with lots of attention from the staff. The place is really clean and the breakfast very delicious. The restaurant downstair served western food but we order the Thai food that was also great. We have small children and the staff were really...

When you book through Agoda you don't get a room in the main building but a room down the lane in an apartment block. The room is terrible and a 500 baht room at best,i paid 3 times that thinking i was in the boutique hotel. Beware this is a con. Only here one night to attend a funeral so...

Gareth, I am very disappointed in your remarks about our business. Why do you think we are a rip off and a con? Don't you think that is harsh and not true ? We had our guard carry your bag to your room and our two buildings are only 10 meters apart and both have elevators and security measures. Your...

Bourbon Street in Bangkok was a great location in Ekamai. 5 minute walk to Bangkok Eastern bus terminal for bus to Pattaya and Ko Samed. It is also 5 minutes walk to BTS Ekamai train station. There are plenty of stores, Big C department store is 10 minute walk, Coffee Club cafe with free Wifi is along the way to...

We stayed 3 nights at the Bourbon St Boutique Hotel. We chose it for it's location which is excellent - only two minutes walk from the sky train and Ekamai bus station - and in our case close to relatives we were visiting. However this is not a boutique hotel. In reality it is rooms above a bar. Reception was...

Very nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Reasonable prices. The beds are very comfortable and big. Nice showers and bathtubs depending on the room you get. A wide variety of TV channels and of course in-room internet for free.

Had high expectations for this place. I had a spacious room, a good bed. For the rest a room without any character. The bathroom had a combined bath-shower. The bath had a leak so after a shower the entire bathroom was wet. The bathroom had a terrible sewersmell all day. There is a safe in the room but there is...

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
