Hotel would be excellent if the maintenance wasn't so poor. We where moved to a twin bed room because our double bedroom was overbooked. Promise a upgrade to superior room the second day, but never happened because they overbooked the second day too. Aircon in the second room was not functioning properly and was marking quite a loud noise. Like...

We changed room from 3rd floor at 4th. Even was 11pm the service was good and smile. I give 4 stars on...

We booked the hotel based on location, a picture of what we thought was the hotel and the price, thinking that...

Booked a room a month before and when I arrived, I have been told that the hotel is full and I will be relocated in another hotel 10min from there. Went to the other hotel for the night, it was very dirty and the...

I requested a decoration in our bed for our special night but nothing was done. Room was pretty big with a bath a view to the BTS and the Mahanakon tower. There was no slippers no bathroom. Unusual pool but very original with an orange colours. Amazing view from 9th floor where you could enjoy Bangkok skyview. Staff where pretty...

I have always stayed in this hotel when in Bangkok as the location right next to Chong Nonsi Sky train is ideal for sight seeing. It's a no frills hotel which was being refurbished 18 months ago but the work seems to have stopped. The hotel no longer provides coffee making facilities in the room and the knowledge of some...

I have been in this hotel 6 years ago. The hotel was really hip, chic, modren, clean and brand new. The staff was very great at that time. I suggested many international friend stay here while they stop by Bangkok. 6 years later, This place is run down, the wall and the floor is dirt and crack. My friend and...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
