It takes a lot of time to get your food. It comes separately for each one. So one is eating and the rest are watching until everyone gets their meal. I ordered a steak and it came rare even though i asked it well done. The french fries were cold, same was with the other dishes. It took us 20...

Do not eat here under any circumstances. They serve very rawchicken. I ordered the spinach chicken and it came raw. Do not order any food from here It will just mess up your holiday. When they brought the bill at least they didn't charge me.

Service was terrible and food came out in 4 parts for only 2 people. The waiter did not smile once and to make it worse our bill come out not even half way through our meal. Very disappointing after 29 days in Asia. I can't comment on the hotel as we just ate there.

My friend and i stayed here at the start of our trip around Thailand. It us well positioned across the road and 3mins walk away from the always busy Khasoan Road, but with easy access to bars and restaurants just outside. Suprisingly its not super noisy at any time which is good, and there is 7/11, money exchange stands, and...

First night in Bangkok and decided to eat here for location. Great place to people watch. Enjoyed crispy chicken but the crispy pork was very dry...and if I was back home I would refuse to pay for it. However I let waitress know but dont think she could do anything she just smiled. I also ordered a fruit smoothie but...

Second visit for us. The rooms are basic and just what you need for travelling. Prices are good. The only problem this time around was the house keeper early in the morning playing music right outside our thin door as we had travelled all the day before, we was very tired. The setting for the restaurant is nice and the...

The price of 850 THB for one night is overpriced and the superior double room was under guesthouses standards. The main problem is the bathroom- you have a balcony with two windows ( two holes in the front wall without any glass). On the one side you have a toilet, on another shower area without any light ( if you...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
