The Luxx is a small "boutique" style hotel that is friendly, but has its quirks. Form can rule over function here, both physically and in the service. The hot water is unreliable. The fittings in the rooms are deteriorating. The stairwell is filled with laundry and cleaning supplies, which isn't good safety practcie. The staff are nice, but a little...

A very pleasant boutique hotel, elegantly designed in a simple, remotely Japanese style with beautiful wood and stone. Well-located and quiet, with truly helpful staff and accomodating management We arrived a day too late and weren't billed for the missed night! A welcome bonus is the lovely little swimming pool, hidden away under blooming trees. Great value for the money!

The hotel map proved to be a great help in locating this property. Before we left we downloaded it and have our taxi driver read it since it's printed in thai. The hotel itself is an experience. it has no grand chandelier but a massive wooden door before entering the hotel. We were greeted by the usual warm thai hospitality...

Apart from the hotel being hard to find, it's tucked away from the craziness down a lane. Quiet and excluded, a welcome change and respite from the usual noise and hustle. The pool, a cool oasis nestled under scented trees. Lovely breakfast served with the efficiency and personal touch of two very hard working ladies, is taken overlooking the pool...

Returning to Bkk after a week frying at the beach I decided I wanted something completely different from my normal 'bkk groove' of chain hotels. The hotel proved a challenge for the taxi driver to locate, close-ish to the major malls, but tucked away closer to lumphini park. Once through the vast 'chinese doors' I entered into what appeared to...

Upon entering the little hotel off the main road, you begin to think this is a nice little boutique hotel. Grand 20ft doors open into the lobby area with a smiling staff welcoming you. Checking in was smooth and they require 50% upfront. That's when the pleasant experience stops. We walk toward the elevator which is tucked to one side...

This hotel is not easy to find, as it is hidden in a little lane (soi). So, equip yourself with Google map and show it to the taxi driver. The building is dull, but the door is an incredible two-storey high wooden masterpiece. I stayed in a standard two bedroom, which was clean, of a comfortable size, with boiler and...

We stayed one day in Jan'13 ina one bedroom suite. As a fan of interior design I must say that I liked it. Hotel needs a renowation (is a bit old) and cleaning. Nice pool and restaurant, water a bit dirty. Receptionist english was very poor. They say that you have 24 hours acces to the pool, but they don't...

Stayed at Luxx XL for 4 nights over New Years in a two bedroom suite. We booked quite late and not knowing Bangkok well we took a stab at this new hotel and location. We thoroughly enjoyed Bangkok. On the positive side the rooms were nice and clean and well configured and a good size for a family. The staff...
