On the left at the top end of the soi. Over the years I've tried many (budget) hotels but this is the hotel I now stay at when I go to Bangkok. Clean, friendly staff, food pretty good, (but shop around as well) outside bar,...More
Hidden away from the bustle of Sukhumvit but still right in the heart of the action Maxim's Inn is perfectly placed for both a night out but also for ease of access to BTS as well as the airport (proximity to the toll way). Rooms...More

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

We stayed in a triple bed room as a family of two adults (parents) and one teenager. There is not a lot of space and it was for us just a place to sleep. Which in Bangkok is fine as everything is open late. The beds were comfortable and spacious but there was no place to sit apart from on the bed. Also the beds are quite close together so you would only want to be sharing the room with close friends or family. Hope this helps.
