We spent 2 nights in this hotel. After seeing nive pics we decided to book zhis hotel for our stay in Bangkok. What we've seen doesn't find right words: the room was full of cockroaches, even in the bed and under the matress!!! The breakfast was under average and we found half cooked chicken bodies just liing on a cupboard...

The customer service was not satisfactory. The hotel room was not very clean and the breakfast was very limited and did not cater for international clientele. Definitely not 4 stars experience compared to other 4* hotels in Thailand. There was a noise for the whole night coming from the lift even if we were far from it. We could hear...

Good for price central enough between zoo and grand palace. Staff in hotel are friendly and helpful although bed is not the softest and can be quite hard. Air con which is a must in 30 degree plus weather really it's all you would want for a hotel that's not a hostel and not the ritz

Stayed in the hotel for 1 night - check in was easy all the staff were very polite and we got juice on arrival. We were shown to our room very quickly - the room was clean, modern and big for a inner city hotel. The location is great and the taxi service within the hotel is affordable and the...

The only advantage of the hotel is that it is close to the main places of interest such as Wat Pho, Wat Phra Kaew, the Golden Mount, and many many others. Everything is easily reachable on foot. And that's the only plus about this stay. The hotel is old and worn out. The rooms with the city view do not...

We reserved this hotel because of the centered location near to turistic spots and because of huge room. I love the hard bed, the huge bathrooms and the spacious hotel. The breakfast was tasty and you can choose from many dishes. The staff was kind and there is a tourist advisor, too. The only thing I do not like was,...

I've been here for a short trip at Bangkok, price affordable but quite bad location for the City. Travelling time will take 30minutes without traffic. But if you are looking for cheap hotel, go for it yeah! ;) can save for more shopping. Nearby to some local food restaurant/hawkers.

I believe it's best possible place to stay in Bangkok if you want to visit the city & the "must C" places. Walking distance to Wat Pho, Grand Palace, Golden Mount, etc. and China Town on the other side. Hotel & rooms would need some refresh (especially toilet), but I belive I would visit it again. Breakfast is not impressive...

Staying in Chinatown / Yaowarat

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During the day, the main street and its small alleyways are filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and all-day markets. The real action, however, happens after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast on some of the best street food in town. Escape the chaos by venturing a little further from the main road and discover hidden shrines, friendly locals and daily life in its purest form.
