Rooms are roomy offering wonderful views. The minibar is free but I would have preferred to pay and have a decent range as opposed to the free cokes and sprites. The Skybar is apparently the highest open air bar/restaurant in the world and is a...More

The Tower Club at Lebua, is meant to be the exclusive section of "one of the most luxurious hotels in Bangkok" (according to lebua's website). Naturally we then thought it would be the height of luxury. We paid more money to stay at the Tower...More

Admittedly we received a good deal on this hotel, so for the price paid, this was OK.
Rooms are spacious although not furnished anything like a 5*. We have stayed at The Peninsula and The Mandarin Oriental, so can legitimately compare like for like.
I stayed at the Lebua 4 years ago so I can comment on any of the changes that have noticeably taken place. Everything was practically the same. Luxury accommodations at very reasonable prices at the heart of Bangkok. They still have the annoying 5000 Baht...More

Thank you for your feedback, we regret that you did not enjoy your stay with us. However we still hope you will change your mind and visit us on your next trip to Bangkok.
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

Agree with Mima. You could do it.. But you would have to change from the Airport Express to the BTS. Then walk from the station to Tower. Dragging a suitcase down the crowded street in the wonderful heat (was 90 degrees F in January ).
Also as Mima stated, Uber was a piece of cake (though don't go down to the lower floor and try to go back up to the arrival floor where the Uber will pick you up... was a challenge!)
We got Uber for the mentioned 300 baht to around $10
Took a little over and hour (timing). Took it back and was there in 30 minutes.
Hope this helps!
