I stayed at NapPark for a night while transiting in Bangkok. The hostel is quite clean and relatively quiet. I stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm and there was a privacy screen you could pull down to kind of separate the bunks. I did...More
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I started and ended my trip at this gem of a hostel. I've made some amazing friends here and the staff was so friendly and caring. A go-to place if you are travelling alone! Thank you NapPark for...More
Stayed here at the beginning of my trip and cannot say enough good things. Met many other travelers whom I spent the next couple weeks with. Amazing facilities and extremely social atmosphere. Will definitely come back! Thanks for the memories!
Perfect location. Everything was clean and it seemed very new.
Loved the curtains in the bedrooms that provide some kind of privacy even in a shared dorm.

The Rage of Bangkok. Voted best hostel in Asia. Nappark is very good. It has a relaxed Thai atmosphere and decoration. However I have been to better Hostels(Star Hostel in Taipei), more party atmosphere hostels(many, like Pink in Manila, The Generator in London etc.). Also...More
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

I took a grabcar there. Was about 400 bhat compared to the 800bhat that the airport taxis were charging. Just don't make it so obvious that you're using grab/uber as it is not legal there and the police will fine the driver 1000bhat if they are caught. This info was told to me by my grab driver when I travelled there in July 2017.
