One of the staff is not trained to be courteous. That's the one in white, Mai. She kept rolling her eyes while talking to the rest of the staff while we were checking our booking. Their inaccurate system was saying we had not paid in full when my printed online booking confirmed we had 0 oustanding balance. The staff was...

As a solo female traveller, it was paramount for me to stay in a safe and easily accessible hostel. Lub d is more than just a budget friendly, safe place to rest. Stayed in a 4 Bed Female Dormitory. All amenities are clean and offers ample luggage storage space. Had a hearty breakfast in the morning. The location is just...

Chose Lub d Bangkok because a friend was staying here. The outside is quite unprepossessing and the theme of the hostel seems to be 'prison' but in a nice way!! Air conditioned throughout with nice lobby. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in a girls only dorm which felt safe even on the ground floor. Bathroom was clean and showers...

It probably has the best location for a hostel in BKK, being diagonally opposite MBK, a huge shopping mall and also just a few steps away from the National Stadium BTS Station. Attention to detail is evident in this hostel as everything you would ever need is here. The quad dorm room was comfortable with good airconditioning. It was clean...

We had a wonderful time. We got there early in the morning before checking in time and we got our room immediately. At first we were shocked by the idea that we don't possess a private bathroom and a toilet. But it turned out as a good benefit since we were staying next to the bathroom & toilet and they...

Although the private rooms are new and clean, we barely slept more than 4 hours here. We booked online and did not realize there were dorm rooms here too. The communal area is EXTREMELY loud for the private rooms, with people partying until the middle of the night/early morning. There is no cut off time to use this area which...

I had low expectations with hostels coming from my bad experiences outside Asia. The only reason I had to stay at this hostel was that I needed a place to rest since my flight would be in the early morning. Fortunately, my experience with this hotel has been a pleasant surprise. Aside from the good price the location is very...
