Stayed in one of the private rooms with en suite. The only downfall is there was no window in this room but didn't make much of a difference when you're out all day. Based in the Siam region of Bangkok, it's suited for those who are on a budget but don't want the constant hustle and bustle of Koh San...

We stayed in a triple room. We found that it was a bit crowded for us and all of our luggage. It was a decent enough location, it was good for one night but the biggest issue was the space really. Make sure that you are friends before staying here as you will very upclose and personal to your peers.

This hostel is really close to the BTS and near the Siam / Suhkummvit area for pubs and clubs. The rooms are a bit small but this didn't bother me as I only used it as a base for getting around the city. The owner was really sweet and helpful and her English was excellent. She had quite a few...

We came to Bangkok like fish out of water but were made to feel very at ease when we arrived. The staff in this family run hostel are very friendly and so are the five cats😻!! Small but functional room.Very clean, quite and affordable. Got us all ready for our trip!!

Beds were hard as rock. I planned to stay a few nights but moved hostel after 1 night. The dorm i was allocated was tiny and cramped. Couldn't even put my bag next to my bed. When I went to check in, they were rude, quiet and unfriendly. Didn't feel welcome.

We stayed last November 18, 2014. The receptionist was pleasant and very accomodating (I think her name is Zheesy). She helped as a lot getting directions to the tourist spots. She speaks good English too! And I have to say that their wifi is soooooooooo fast!!!

This is a modest little haven for the tired traveller. All the ladies working here - reception and maid - are caring and hospitable. A secure and clean place in the centre of town. I leave with good rest, well clean and a heart well-warmed! Always.

Upon our second visit we stayed with Tong and his crew in this then (early 2011 - not tagable in the TA timeline) newly opened hostel. It was so much more convenient, friendly and hostel-like than the first place we stayed at. When we wanted to go out for dinner and couldn't recall the place we had been to, Tong...

We stayed here for two nights and had the worst experience in Thailand. Our room was too small to accomodate three people. The mattress was too hard and we couldn't sleep properly also woke up with a terrible back ache. The shower was horrible. It was mouldy and there were pieces of faeces on the wall. Also the staff was...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
