BS Court is on Soi Prapinit just off Thanon Suan Phlu at Sathon near the embassies. On Suan Phlu, about 300m from the hotel, there is ample food for reasonable prices and a couple of bars, too. For everything else, it is easy to catch a motorbike to the next BTS station (Chong Nonsi). Rooms have a western style kingsize...

Pleased to find that the local area had great food stalls a five minute walk away, yet the hotel is in a peaceful backstreet. If you like running or taichi, Lumphini Park is close enough to walk to and is a great space for a pre-heat of the day workout. Room is big, clean, really great firm bed, kitchenette with...

I´ve stayed here some nights, nice place, large, traditional room (living part, sleeping part), friendly, but a bit tricky to find (evn for taxi drivers who in general can´t read maps!) - it´s at the corner of the Shell filling station and the Mariott (that is what the taxi drivers know, and what is helpful foryour orientation. Print a mpa,...

The room is huge: living room, bedroom, kitchen with big freezer, bathroom. I guess it would be a perfect value for someone who needs to stay in Bangkok for a few weeks / months. The owner is very nice and helpful. The location could be slightly better: you have to walk 20 minutes to get to the closest metro station....

First the positives: The location is superb. Easy walking distance to the BTS south line and an excellent variety of street eats (Suan Phlu road and north end of Convent road). Laundry lady around the corner and hundreds of 7/11s and pharmacies around. Also centrally located to some of the best rooftop bars in Bangkok. The room we had was...

Location: Area in which it is located is perfect! However, it is in a small lane from the main road and could be a problem to find without assistance. Rooms: Rooms are huge for the price you pay. I enjoyed the space it offered, storage and furniture were more than adequate Service: This is where they let me down. First...

We stayed here 3 nights after landing in Bangkok. We had a large room on the ground floor with kitchen sink, fridge, microwave, large bathroom with good hot water, large firm (but not hard by Asian standards) bed. 10-15 minute walk to silom road for good food selection, mrt and srt stations. Will stay here again.

The location is good, the staff is also good. The room was hygienic and you have everything available inside the room. A Refrigerator, a microwave and a TV. The space is good enough. There is a small sitting area as well :) Overall good experience.

This place is okay if, like me, you're just staying one night. It's pretty well located - not far from Si Lon - and has everything you might need in the way of facilities (and of course it's pretty low cost) but it is dark (small windows) and appears to be a converted former office block. The lights are still...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
