Nothing worked in the room, everything old and worn out.Only the location is great but way too expensive ( 1500 baht) for what you get. There are much better hotels in the hood for less money. ,,,,,,,,
Sad to say my favourite place to stay in Bangkok has declined rapidly. I have stayed many times at this hotel while getting dental work in Bangkok. This hotel was fabulous when new. It's now in need of maintenance, not only was the shower broken...More
Amora is your basic budget accommodation in Bangkok , room is big enough but balcony is not accessible and everything dated, worn and seating stained with cigarette burns. There are tea/coffee etc in your rooms and a safe to stop the many thefts in earlier posts....More
Nice hotel. Close to metro (5 mins from one direction and less than 10 mins from other side). Not as close to the metro, but wasn't too far either. Beware, on google maps 2 locations show up. Make sure you select the one across from...More

With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's
hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

If 4 of you can get in the same cab that is best option. Depends on your bags.Other option is airport link. You can get on airport link (sky train) and exit on Phyathai station. Once there You ll need to buy ticket for Phrom Phong station which is simple as it is on the same line ( Sukhumvit , green line) This will cost you all together around 80 baht per person. From Phrom Phong you can walk to Hotel , which is in soi 31. In my opinion best is to use taxi but make sure to tell driver to use meter, just refuse any fixed price that he might offer.
