Greeted upon arrival with friendly staffs from conceirges to reception. Swift check-in and no cool drinks provided due to hot weather. Requested for upper floor and we're provided. Need key slot in lift for room floor. Amenities inadequate due need request for comb and toothbrush with tooth paste. Big spacious room. Wifi speed very fast. Called operator who made the...

We were in Bangkok for two days and splurged for the junior executive suite It's a corner penthouse on one of the top floors. The view was amazing and the bathroom was almost as large as the sleeping area. The bathtub was just the thing needed after a 26 hour flight. You have the option of dining in the executive...

Currently staying at the Eastin Grand It is a nice hotel, good location and very convenient to be linked to the BRT skytrain Pool area is lovely with great daybeds in a shallow pool of water, connected to a great infinity pool. There is also a well equipped fitness centre and kids playroom. The hotel offered a kids bed in...

Dear Lynsey B, Greetings from Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn Bangkok. May I begin by offering my most unreserved and heartfelt apologies regarding your experience at Eastin Grand Sathorn. There was an unfortunate error on our part in providing you with a connecting room next to one which was undergoing its annual “room care” program. Our usual hotel procedure is to...

we stayed at the eastin grand sathorn for 4 nights (superior sky room), the room was cozy, the view amazing and we quickly felt at home. the staff was attentive and polite. the pool was really nice (but unfortunately there is a skyscraper which blocks the otherwise stunning view). the hotel is situated close to the MRT. we'll be back.

I'd been backpacking for a few months, and I decided to treat myself to this on my last night in Bangkok. It's quite far out the way from anything worth visiting, which I knew when I booked it, but didn't realise quite how awkward it would be to get to. It's more in the business district, so ideal for those...

The location is okay, very handy for Surasek BTS & getting around town. The rooms are modern, clean & functional. The staff & customer service was excellent. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. Overall I tend to prefer smaller boutique hotels to the larger chains but I have to say that this hotel was well run & very comfortable.

We finished our Thailand adventure with 3 nights at the Eastin Grand Sathorn and we were very impressed. The room we had was great. It was on the 21st floor in the corner. The bed was very comfy , the bathroom was huge and the views were fantastic. The room came with access to the executive lounge which we discovered...

Location of this hotel is key. Traffic is horrible in Bangkok and using the sky train was so easy and it's connected to the hotel. Hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast had a lot of options and room service was great. The pool on the 14th floor is amazing. I would stay here again if in Bangkok.

They gave us a room with a shower with clogged drainage. Their toilets don't have a bidet. How inconvenient! The only thing nice is their interconnection to Surasak BTS station. The food on the menu of their Luce restaurant is priced prohibitively.

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
