Always great to come back. Suite is huge and very accommodating. I like the location, smack in the center of the city, few minutes from everywhere. The lounge was great, was served by Geo who is always friendly, most useful with local pointers and great "local Thai" advice where to go and what to do. Will definitely come back again...

Check-in was very efficient with lovely welcome mocktail. Very good starting a stay... Very beautiful room, creative interior design. Large bathroom with lovely bathtub and also standing shower. Water pressure is very good. Buffet breakfast was excellent with large choices, especially fresh fruits. However buffet dinner was not very good, better to go for a la cart option. Location is...

Booked this as the last 2 nights stay before heading home. What a hotel! Amazing, modern design and a suite that is larger than most Sydney Apartments. Each room had a mac mini media system, TV and tannoy sound system...attention to detail. The members lounge is top notch and the service excellent. Complimentary massage in the spa was first class...

We’ve been to the SO Sofitel Bangkok for the second time now and still we are big fans of this Hotel. The whole staff is extremely friendly and devoted, it really felt like homecoming. The location is close to all transports, opposite Lumpini Park. The rooms are situated in the upper part of the building designed in four different element...

I'm frequent to visiting Bangkok, and would usually stay in Sofitel Sukhumvit. Decided to try this one seeing the great reviews (and have some meetings near by). I was pleasantly surprised from the level of rooms and the chance of a relaxing swimming pool with amazing views... club lounge did not disappoint, especially being served by "Gio" (typo?) indeed land...

Amazing Staff, Amazing Rooms and Convenient Location. Made my stay feel way too short and I am usually not a happy business traveller. The rooms were spacious, clean and luxurious. The staff were so accommodating and attentive to my needs.

This is the first time I stay in a "So" series from Sofitel. The hotel is modern, clean and the breakfast is delicious, as always, in a Sofitel. But it seems to me the Orange juice might not be freshly-pressed, which is a disappointment for me. I always like the French elegance of a traditional Sofitel. But the So hotel...

Overall we had a great experience. We were nicely and warmly welcome at the Signature Club. The Club is good although the "buffet" offers a limited choice. Rooms are great, comfy and spacious. Just be careful when you shower as the temperature significantly changes without notice and the bathroom floor can be slippery...(i write this based on my own experience)....

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
