It was a 1 night stay and I arrived late but everything about the hotel was amazing. From the reception to the ambience to the room itself, everything was laid out to welcome and soothe you. In particular I loved the ability to watch the cable tv or connect my computer to the hotel TV via Apple TV. For those...

Office had our regional conference here but aside from staying here paid for by the office, the design aesthetics and the level of service in this hotel are just fantastic! The rooms are thoughtfully and creatively designed to incorporate the elements and the amenities are luxurious. Breakfast buffet was just amazing. Location is good too (MRT Lumphini is 3-5mins walk...

My hubby and I stayed at this hotel for one night and it's on my birthday. The location is walking distance from Lumpini MRT, about 3 min walk. The staff was friendly and give us a welcome drink while we're waiting for check in. We stayed at level 22 earth element which is dominated by blue colors. What i love...

The whole experience was incredible. We arrived super late at night and was still greeted like vips. The signature lounge had great breakfast and services throughout our stay. All the staff were super nice and very friendly. They answered all questions, gave us advice on were to go, and even remembered what we drank from the day before. They made...

Located just 5 mins away from Lumpini MRT station, but not easy to get on Taxi if you want to go to town centre (even with the help of hotel staff). It took us 35 mins from hotel to where the 'Pratunam Chicken Rice' is. Highly recommend to take MRT/ BTS if you're not driving. We arrived the hotel earlier...

This was our second stay in this hotel and it continued to thrill and fascinate. There are surprise touches of artistic thoughtfullness at every turn. The rooftop bar/restaurant is exquisite and definitely worth a visit. We had access to the Executive Lounge and the attention to detail was amazing. The eggs menu for the morning had a la carte options...

I have stayed at this hotel on a business visit. This is a designed hotel with the room designed based on the 5 elements: Wood, Earth, Water, Metal, and Fire. Each room has its unique decoration which is quite impressive. Buffet breakfast and lunch are superb with a very wide variety of food selection. Meeting rooms are standard. They could've...

We stayed at the Sofitel So over New Years this year. Ourselves and one other couple checked into the hotel on NYE and stayed for a couple days after. The staff was very friendly and happy to help out with any request, and the buffet breakfast was AMAZING... Well worth the money. The vibe at both the pool and the...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
