I've stayed at this place last year already and I decided to stay again. Everything was great, friendly staff and affordable price for private room. WiFi worked well and the shower was nice too. We had a minibar too. There is a small pub next door where they serve delicious breakfast and lunch. I think it's called Art Caffè. The...

RUSTY AND UNSANITARY Bathroom. ITCHY beds. Ambiance felt off. I don't usually give ratings to places I've been in but this one is very much disappointing. I can't even sleep bcos of HOW UNCLEAN THE PLACE IS. Just don't book here.

We relocated to this hotel due to fully booked, we arrived at 3am, the put us at 5th floor and no lift, room cant be locked properly, the bathroom smell so bad. The price is too high and it's not worthy to pay such this amount.

We stayed here two nights during my short vocation in Bangkok, On the first day when we arrived at hotel the staff there not really friendly and not helpful. The WiFi at the lobby is very weak signal. At night time very noisy from the people walk on the corridor and next room but no staff to spot check along...

Me and my friends have stayed here for at least three to four times over the years. There was never any problem with check in or our rooms. This year, it seems they just hired people off the street without any training given the treatment we received when we arrived AND left. Before we arrived in Bangkok, we re-confirmed our...

Had stayed here for a week in a row, the hotel it's a great location because it's one step away from the BTS Phra Khanong. Easy to get anywhere by sky train. Laundry service is also great, not too expensive. The only thing is they don't have any escalator so it's hard to bring your suitcase if you brings a...

'The Mix Bangkok'. A 'mix' of what? Assorted bacteria? A 'mix' of emotions? Anger and disgust perhaps? I'll keep this as short as I can because even writing about this toilet of a premises is giving me hives: In 6 months traveling round SE Asia I have stayed in some budget dumps ($20-$35 a night bracket). This sewer of a...

We were able to come across this hotel on the internet and it was one of the cheapest hotels we found. When we got to Bangkok three days ago, we were glad to know that this was just literally at the exit of the Phra Khanong BTS. Really convenient if you're a backpacker like me since the BTS is just...

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighbourhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
