Stayed here for a week as it's closed to my office near BTS line...the staffs are incredible and friendly. For those who have cars would always have problem finding car park but here they will help you figure out and park nearby or just inside their office garage. We will definitely come back again 😊

My girlfriend and i stayed here for one night and it was ok. Average is about as good as you can rate it. Pros: 15 minutes from sky train Good hot shower Clean rooms Big bed Cons: Very uninterested staff Wifi kept going on and off We paid 11 pound and that was a fair price i would say. If...

Not far from the BTS, can walk from ekkamai in 15 minutes but also plenty of taxis and motor taxis passing by on the street. I cannot comment too much on the surrounding area but seems somewhat active at night. Rooms are ok, aircon and tv included, but wifi does not work well. I had difficulty communicating with the staff...

Short stay: Ideal for a trip to the airport after checkout, because it's within a few minutes of a freeway to BKK. Long stay: I've stayed here several times for months, and this is why I like Nine Place (beyond price). 1) Security. Doors are locked, you need a key to get in, nobody wandering about. If your computer (or...

Our arrival did not bode well, the booking was wrong and staff spoke no English, we had Thais with us which helped, we were ignored. The trip up the narrow stairs with trip hazards and filth was not pleasant either. The air-con was new and worked well. The wi-fi was also okay. The room was pokey, the mattress lumpy and...

Cheap place to stay with clean rooms. If you are looking for cheap stay then you can consider the hotel. However, few things :- 1) Rooms were small in size 2) Self-service - don't expect a waiter or room service 3) No restaurant. For breakfast, there is a small section in front of reception where the receptionist can give you...

I've stayed at Nine Place for months at a time three times now, so I'm an experienced long-stay traveler. I rate it highly because it meets my needs; it's very close to all the fine restaurants in Ekkamai and trendy Thong Lor, and you can get to Silom and downtown with a straight shot down Rama IV; and the BTS...

Not easy to check in, the two ladies didn't understand one word of english. After two days of travelling we did not even shower due to the horrible smell of the cockroach poison. No window in room. The hallways are dirty but the room and bed ok. Not coming back.

Have stayed here a couple of times out of convenience and cheapness. You're unlikely to find anywhere cheaper in Sukhumvit. These are simple, modern rooms that are not maintained particularly well by the charming, hospitable and friendly owner. Had some problems with cleanliness, the beds don't seem to get changed regularly enough judging by hairs found over the sheets. The...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
